Tipsy Turtle Owen Street Pub

Ordered the Lemon Pepper Wings and was surprised to see it wasn’t a dry rub. Give it a shot and didn’t like the taste or the fact it wasn’t a dry rub spice. I found it to be too lemony with no pepper. Onion rings were plentiful and tasty. The bartender was personable and on point with getting a souvenir T-shirt for a friend.

Always good food and service. They also have a plant based menu if you ask ?

A little disappointed with the order. I'll give them that our order was larger than our normal, but we ordered crispy wings, but seemed to have received regular wings. Sauce was spot on, but we have enjoyed their crispy wings much better.

Wasn't a bad place. The wings were good sized but the kick your !@# sauce didn't have any kick. The beers on tap were great.

Tasty crab, shrimp, spinach dip. My wife and our friend enjoyed the turtle bites. I had a very good classic burger. Fries were great. Service was excellent, sorry I don't remember her name.

Home of the famous Turtle Bites (chicken bites) pick a flavor & they have it. The turkey pot pie in a bread bowl is excellent, filling, & tasty! Burgers are spot on as well!

My son and I go here all of the time. The bar tenders are the best, they have a great selection of beer, and the food is great.

I loved the food here! But it took a long time to order/get our food served to us. Not sure if that was a one time thing or if this is just how it was, but other than that I loved it!

Pretty great place. Little slow service but all thing considered they do a great job with the staff they have willing to work. Kudos to the wait staff

We had a group of 10-12 people for food and drinks and our waitress was so patient and available to our group. The drinks were great and I liked having the option of margaritas frozen or on the rocks. Lots of bars just offer frozen. Everything we ordered including the shrimp and gouda dip with chips, egg rolls, sandwiches and burgers was plentiful and tasty. Definitely recommend the Tipsy Turtle for a date or night out with friends.

First of all...the wait staff were great...5 stars! This is about the food, which was across the board less than mediocre. I ordered the Reuben eggrolls and an order of fries. The eggrolls were not crispy at all, and just barely warm. It looked as though they'd been dying under a heat lamp for hours. They tasted fine, but they should have been made to order. It wasn't that busy. The fries, "fresh cut" or no were not freshly served! As above, they were limp, only slightly warmed, and there's no way they were freshly cooked and served, as they should have been. I actually sent them back, very respectfully and apologetically! I was brought back the same plate of wrinkled, floppy fries, a few degrees warmer. Did they just microwave them for a minute?? It would appear so. My daughter's Turtle Bites were just dry and bland. My son's regular wings were cooked fine, but both of them said neither sauce deserved to be called "hot". I don't know if the other location is as bad, but we will not be going back to the Swoyersville location ever.Follow-up...I did exactly as asked below. No response.

Nice and clean bar. Attentive and friendly bartenders. Very good pub food and a good size beer selection.
