We visit the poconos a few times a year and Barley creek has been one of our favorite go tos the last several years but unfortunately the menu has gotten progressively worse. The menu no longer has good plant based/ vegetarian options anymore. They used to have beyond burgers, cauliflower wings, veggie pizza, and more.. and they play only country music now too..

Odd decorating, and the tables were in a strange configuration, but the staff was great, and the food was amazing! We had a variety: appetizers, meals, non alcoholic drinks, and beer- everything was delicious. Nice to see so many mocktails offered, and I noticed a lot of coffee flavored drinks that looked fun.

Food was decent, service was okay. Took 2 hours from the time we sat down to get food, a pizza at that. Would not ever go back, do not recommend.

Amazing place! I ate here multiple times the past two weeks after completing a mural job I had. The first time I got a crab cake and so did my boyfriend, we loved it I just wish it was a bit bigger. We split a beer flight which was amazing their cream ale, and Belgium one were our favorites. Then we tried a cocktail too, both were very good.
The following week I got the wings with the garlic Parmesan sauce, it was very good. Then he got the cauliflower bites which were also good.
Today I got the chili which was amazing then he got the Mac and cheese. It was very good! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again!

We had a larger group and our server Caitlyn was great. She made sure everyone was taken care of and the food was great. Would definitely recommend.

The wings served here gave food poisoning! This is unacceptable. Never eating here again! Well, it happened. They let it happen.

We had an awesome time on our bachelor trip here at the fire pit. We got to play some softball afterwards, which is a lot of fun!

Food was GREAT. Recommend vodka pepperoni pizza (we got no hot honey though because our 1 year old was going to be eating it).
The rest of our party highly recommend the mussels as well as the French onion soup. Honestly, even my baby’s orange juice was top tier in flavor.
The staff all had smiles on - but in particular, our server, Caitlin, was so attentive and extremely on point. There were no mistakes, no delays, not one request was forgotten. When the manager came by, I made sure to point out that our service was perfect.

We reserved one of the Smores areas for my birthday party yesterday and I was so impressed! The atmosphere was perfect, there was SO MUCH FOOD! Drinks were awesome! Our entire party loved it! We will be back!

We had my birthday party here. It was a small group about 20 of us and they gave us the back of the tasting room. The food and service were phenomenal. Booking it was such an easy experience, they were accommodating and responsive. We highly recommend coming here!!

We were away on small vacation for son’s birthday. We stopped here first night which was our 3rd time coming. We have grown to always stop here when in the area. Food has always been phenomenal, atmosphere is great, staff is courteous and kind. Lots of good options on the menu which I like. The nachos appetizer was great with shredded chicken added, the smoked meatloaf is one of my favorite dishes and is so good. We’ve gotten pizza here before that tastes amazing and fresh as well as the boneless wings were juicy and had a nice crisp to them. Tried various drinks here. The barley palmer was very good. Staff was very accommodating even one staff member putting on some funny dog videos for the kids to watch and keep them entertained. We did not even ask them too. We will continue to come out when in the area. Definitely worth checking them out.

Me and my girlfriend have come here twice and we immediately decided that this would become a staple of ours! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and warm and clean, and the service is amazing! We loved our server Rhiannon in particular—we had her both times and we absolutely adored her! She’s so nice and welcoming and her aura. She’s so friendly and lovely and easy to talk to. We absolutely adored her and really hope to get her next time we come!!!
