Dinner at Alta Vida was 10 out of 10! Our server Mia was super friendly and on point. We have dietary restrictions and she knew exactly what was gluten free on their menu. There was even gluten free dessert!

We sat outside with our dog and Mia brought a water bowl to the table for him.

I’ve always enjoy a good Mexican spot but this spot … wasn’t it. My table has waited over an hour just to receive our food but the waitress was very nice. The food was dry , burnt and stale

Our recent dining experience involved a party of twelve. We would like to commend our waitress, Megan, for her exceptional service and accommodating demeanor. Despite her efforts, the kitchen's performance detracted from the overall experience. Several dishes required adjustments or were deemed unsatisfactory. The food quality and flavor were below expectations, and the portion sizes did not justify the pricing. Given the appeal of the Camelback Resort, I recommend exploring alternative dining options off-site. I’ll leave it at this; you may want to consider hiring a cook who shares the same cultural background and has a deep understanding of the cuisine you’re aiming to serve.

I’ll start by saying our Waitress Megan was very accommodating and pleasant and this review has nothing to do with her that being said this place is garbage messed up multiple orders in our party of 12 with multiple plates being sent back due to poor quality food was laughably flavorless and overpriced for the portion sizes a common theme for Camelback resort based restaurants for such a beautiful resort the onsite food locations are horrible definitely disappointed and recommend food off-site elsewhere the only thing this place has going for it is the friendly staff…….other then that yeah go elsewhere

The Mexican food here is solid and a good addition to the restaurants near Camelback Resort. It's reasonably priced and the service was very good. It's worth visiting this family friendly restaurant, so check it out.

Emma and Rose were excellent servers/hosts. Great food at great price! The margarita flights are amazing and u get a great bang for your buck!

We wanted to try this restaurant as it looks nicely advertised . Waitress was pleasant . The food quality is poor and not authentic Mexican . Kids menu has only 3 items. Chips that were served, stale . Rice was undercooked and beans too salty .

My family and I decided to give this place a try and let’s just say it was awful. We had asked to sit outside due to it being a nice day out which they were able to accommodate but they were irritated about having to wipe the rain water off the table so I ended up helping to make THEIR JOB easier. When we finally sat down they took our drink order and brought chips out with salsa. The salsa tasted like it was from a jar and the chips were so stale to the point that the chips weren’t even breaking. They weren’t only stale but salty as hell. Finally our food came out and it was cold. The rice tasted freezer burnt with no taste. My husbands food was completely wrong. They brought out birria tacos when he ordered carne asada tacos. The birria tacos tasted like a spicy bbq sauce and they were soggy you couldn’t even pick them up. When we let our waitress know it was the wrong plate she said she would take it off the bill but when it came to paying the bill the manager came out and said “well he ate it so you will have to pay for it” I thought that was extremely rude and unprofessional especially after her waitress said she would take it off. As for everyone else’s food it was flavorless, cold and dry.
I would never recommend this place to anyone.

We walked in with a party of 14. 6 adults and 8 kids. Our server, Chris, was amazing! Chris was attentive, made great recommendations, and handled all of the picky eater requests with ease! The atmosphere was festive and comfortable, food delicious, and cocktails expertly crafted. Would definitely go back!

This past weekend my family and me went to Alta Vida for dinner and it was absolutely incredible! Our waitress Heidi was so attentive, kind, and gave us great suggestions- you can tell she was made for the service industry. They just recently changed to a Mexican restaurant and they definitely hit the mark. Our kids are still talking about the salsa and nachos. We had fish tacos, Al pastor tacos and quesadillas- all mouthwatering. The views, atmosphere and environment are wonderful. We cannot wait to go back again!

We had a great meal while visiting the area. The salsa and queso were awesome as an appetizer, our 3 yr old ate the whole plate of it! We got the shrimp and steak fajitas, chicken chimichangas, and kids quesadillas, everything was really good. The atmosphere was also really nice and you can eat out on the deck and have amazing scenery.
