Overall good experience. The rotisserie chicken was a bit dry but the pernil mofongo and empanadas we had were flavorful. Would definitely go back! Service was great!

I’m so upset that I live almost 2 hours away. I was craving Puerto Rican food and found this spot. It did not disappoint. The food was amazing!!!

The alcapurrias and Monfongo con Carne Frita were phenomenal!!! My only recommendation is to get rid of the plexiglass. Makes the place look uninviting, Covid is over. Also, not a fan of dining in and having to use plasticware or hot sauce (pique) in packets.

Best food anywhere when it comes to Latin food, everything is always and tastes great and so enjoyable to eat and prices are also great. The service is also great. And to top it off you can eat anywhere and in the name brand Restaurants and won't find any comparison to the great taste.

I was in the area for the day from south east, PA. I found this place on my phone app, and the reviews sold me on this restaurant. First I would like to say that the girls at the front counter are an asset to your business, they were very friendly, and sweet. The place itself has a relaxed atmosphere, which means a lot to me.
I ordered a sancocho with a side of white rice as tradition dictates. Now I did not really consider this dish as a sancocho, but more like a soup which is the cook's version of a sancocho, however to the cook I will say your version of a sancocho was really delicious. I did ask for the large portion which costs fifteen dollars before taxes, and to my disappointment the large was very small. So I wonder what the small order looks like. Also the tables here are very small, I am an average size man and to put my legs under the table I would have to close my legs to fit between the table legs.
I tried that and to my surprise that did not work. There are two metal pieces which cross from one leg to another which do not allow for a person to sit properly, so I had to sit back from the table with one foot underneath it and the other outside said table. Not to mention that table and chairs are metal so already they are cold and winter is not here yet. I am enclosing a picture of the table for your verification.
You guys seem to be on the right track, however you need to improve in these areas. I left a three star review based on the food portion, and the uncomfortable seating which left me wondering; What we're these people thinking when they put these tables here. Amazing.

Visited this unassuming small Puerto Rican spot while we were on vacation. It was everything I wanted it to be and more ? The pepper steak and rice was amazing! Don't skip the tres leches cake either.

Excellent Spanish food, good variety to choose from. Always a go to in the area. Sadly they were cited by health inspection for server having long fake nails... problem still not corrected.. 9/2024. Server had long nails with rhinestones.. no gloves .. reaching over hot food.. it's only a matter of time when someone chokes or chips a tooth finding it in their food.

I’ve never wrote a review before but this place deserves it. My fiancé, son, and I have been getting tired of the local hotel food. We’ve decided to hit the road and see what else is near by. Boy am I glad we’ve stumbled across this gem.

By the far the most authentic Puerto Rican food I’ve ever had. For a moment I thought I was eating dinner at my relatives in Puerto Rico . The atmosphere was amazing. Employees were nice, engaging , and respectful. I would strongly encourage to try this place out. This is our first time in the poconos and this restaurant just gave more more of an excuse to come back.
