Me and my wife stopped in for a late lunch today. My wife had the French Onion soup and the Coconut Shrimp, both were excellent. I had the Crab Cake Sandwich, very good, and the best Mussels I ever tasted. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

We were in town for my son (14) birthday along with our 2 other kiddos who don't generally eat seafood. Every single thing our table ordered (from the mozzarella sticks and calamari appetizers to our amazing entrées) was TOP notch. Some of, if not THE, best we've ever had including in Florida and South Carolina when we vacation there! Bo was our server and she was so amazing, too!Parking: Lots of space!Kid-friendliness: 2 of our kids don't eat seafood. Both got chicken tenders and said they were AMAZING! They seem hand breaded not frozen like most places. Also, they got the mozzarella stick appetizer and I had one which was one of the best things I've ever eaten! Didn't know you could "church up" a mozzarella stick but the chefs at Smuggler's Cove nailed it!
My husband and I were OVERJOYED with our experience at Smuggler’s Cove. The prime rib, crab cluster, and the lobster tail were all to die for. We almost ordered seconds (not a joke) it was one of the best dinners on our New England roadtrip honeymoon. Not to mention our server Devin P was one of the nicest people we have ever met. Super helpful and beyond attentive. This will be a place we will be coming to visit again. Also side note the hostess (the one who was only on her second shift) was also overly helpful and deserves a little mention!

I had my wedding on 4/13 at smugglers cove and it was absolutely the best day ever. They did such a great job with the accommodations I asked for and Alex and Michelle were so lovely and pleasant and my husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were very quick with drinks and food and I would recommend everyone to come here and we enjoyed! Thank you so much especially Michelle and Alex you guys were amazing and made our day so special

We went to this restaurant on new year's day.We were seated quickly.Then it all went downhill.We waited about 15 minutes to order DRINKS.Our waitress was nice, but we had to tell her we were ready to order.We waited another 20 minutes for our drinks.One soda, and one bar drink.Sodas are tiny, less then a cans worth.We didn't get any bread, other tables had bread.I ordered the gumbo, and fish and chips. Waitress informs me that it comes with actual chips, not fries, and that fries would count as my side. Fine.My girlfriend got the catch.Cod Louisiana style.Gumbo was good.Cod was good.Fish and chips looked like fish sticks, but tasted good. Fries sucked.We asked for to go boxes, thinking it would hurry the check along, it didnt. Took another 10 to 15 minutes to get our check, had to give waitress my card just not to wait any longer. We noticed other people who arrived after us get served before us, and also got checks before us. We were also overcharged for a drink that was supposed to be on special.Would think twice about returning.

I really had high expectations, but the salad bar was below basic, and the food was below average, however, the service is top notch our server was very attentive, and pleasant. She made the experience smooth, when the steak is better than the Seaford at a seafood restaurant, it makes you go Umm!This was our only restaurant experience for this trip to the Poconos, and I'm not likly to be back on my return
