Before barley creek bought it, it was a really good sandwich shop. Prices were decent, and food was awesome. Now sandwiches are garbage, with poor ingredients, and the end product is overall poor quality.
Great fresh food- very good quality of the food, meat - love the very friendly service
Sandwiches were good, but over priced. It would have been nice to get a small bag of chips and or pickle with sandwich. Two sandwiches and two bottled beverages (water&soda): $40
The food was great for a quick lunch on the run. Staff was friendly. Not much room to sit inside but there are a few tables and chairs
Visited yesterday while we are staying at the great wolf lodge & we were sad they aren’t doing pizzas right now !! But food was good salad was soooo fresh and delicious & they were very nice especially when asking about an allergy ! Next time we are in the poconos we will return
I tried to go there for breakfast. Website said "Opens at 8am" Get there, with my 7 year old son, around 7:45am, so we're outside walking around the place, looking at their decorations and landscaping when, right at 7:58am or so, a car pulls up, two dudes jump out and go into the building. One says "We'll be right out then" So...by 8:25am I left from standing at the glass pained front door, where these guys could clearly see us. It wasn't very warm out either. "We'll be right out...?" Constituted 25 minutes later? Lost my business. I peeped their menu online too...way high price markups. Go to TIMBERS PUB. They'll treat you right.
Cashier was so friendly to the lady in front of us, then extremely rude to us (we literally just walked in and waited patiently for her to be done talking). We were greated by "what you want" and then she got irritated when we had to looked at the menu again, becuase they were out of what we ordered (it was 11am). Every table was dirty. The floors were dirty and crusty (it was just us and the lady that got friendly service). When food came out it was horrible. The French toast is just white bread dipped in eggs. Soggy, wet with NO taste. Overall, between the rude staff, dirty restaurant and lack of care from the kitchen, just eat ANYWHERE else. If the owner cares at all about their business they should fire that casier, I see other reviews with the same complaints.
NOT THE SAME AS IT USED TO BE...... Been going to this places for the last 2 years and it's always been fantastic with large portions which kept use coming back over and over again. Haven't been around all summer and ordered this morning and super disappointed.... portions were much much smaller and the prices roughly 40% higher . Called to voice my disappointment and found out it is now under Barley Creeks ownership. So just beware its not the same as it used to be which is super upsetting......
My order was wrong.. didn't get any support when I called, the owner got angry and yell when I asked for a refund
DO NOT EAT IN THIS RESTAURANT. If was able to give this restaurant a 0 on the review I would gladly do it. Terrible Terrible customer service. I was nice enough to tip the cashier even before i recieved my food( a young lady with two piercings on her face) however, after my terrible experience I asked for the tip back. She refused to give me the tip back and I made it very clear that she did not deserve a tip because she was extremely disrespectful not only to myself but also to many customers in the restaurant. I asked for the manager and she said she was the only one in charged and she will do what she wanted to do in the restaurant. She then said here's your $3 dollars back ( using profanity) then walk towards the kitchen cursing and telling her coworkers that she dosent care about a tip. Then came out and started yelling.

Horrible experience. Cashier was rude. Waited over 45 minutes for glorified deli breakfast sandwiches when there was only one other group in the restaurant that already had their food. As we were leaving we saw the ENTIRE STAFF including the cashier leave the restaurant to smoke cigarettes and chat in the back. Guess that explains why our food took so long.
The staff was extremely rude to us, we had to ask multiple time for cutlery, the server was bluntly rude to us because they announced our order wrong and because we didn’t answer to the wrong name of our order they responded with some snarky comments. Also, there was an infant no lore than a week old in the hot kitchen with the workers, that is no place for an infant to stay. Not going to be the one to call CPS because I am not sure of their circumstances that led them to host a 1 week old infant in a hot kitchen.
Absolutely delicious! The pancakes are awesome, the philly cheese steak is out of this world and the omelet with homefries and toast is simplicity done right! I'm going back again tomorrow!
I went here since I heard so many good reviews on it. Ordered pancakes with bacon kids wanted a salami and cheese sandwich which I’m amazed by it it was just a sandwich I could have made at home nothing came with it and it was over priced we did get chips and 2 drinks for the kids and coffee our total was $50 the portions were not big like the recommendation I’ve read online and the wait to get the food only I waitress 30 mins to get my food.. not impressed
My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and said it was the best he'd ever had. My burger and fries were perfect and even the kids enjoyed their food. Staff was super nice as well!
