Lovely lil taco joint in the mountains. Surprisingly good food. We went back here 3 times.This nearly compares with the top Mexican places one would find in NYC.Oh and as the lady says "the habanero salsa is really spicy" ?

There was a trail up on the mountain but it was closed so we decided to stop by for a quick bite to eat. Staff were friendly. They only take cash for payments. They have a lil atm machine inside tho if you don’t have cash on you. The photos I took of the tacos did not do them justice but they were a perfect blend of flavors. I also ordered tres leche cake but it was long devoured before I could snap a pic.

Vacationing in Poconos with the family and had a taste for tacos. Googled local places and Zacks popped up. Environment lives up to its name, we loved it. Hostess was welcoming and provided us with info on menu. Order came out timely as orders are made fresh. We ate in car to enjoy food warm but they do provide outdoor seating. WORTH IT!!! The food smelled great and tasted even better. Fresh ingredients, crispy nacos/tacos, hand crafted tortillas, tender seasoned meat (I'm drooling typing this). We highly recommend stopping by if in the area, you will not be disappointed. Cash only, but have ATM there.Kid-friendliness: Our kids are picky but ate all their food.

Been here a few times as I am a local. Was interested in this place because of the "TOP 5 in PENNSYLVANIA" award. Don't get your hopes up...Make no mistake about it, it is a SHACK, and seating is limited to a few picnic tables outside. The cooking quality of the food is just above basic home style cooking. So nothing overly impressive.However, for the price you pay over the quantity of what you get, the food is well prepared and the tacos are packed. This place is similar to your local Hot dog shoppe, only, it's tacos! Plenty of items on the menu, and so far the steak tacos are the best!
10% gratuity charges to all orders over $10 even though this is a take out spot with ño server.
