The Fawn Tavern is a special place to me. Yes, it's close to my home and a stop in is just convenient at times, but also it's the kind of wonderful dive bar I love.It allows smoking, has a free jukebox on Wednesdays, cheap drinks and the occasional live entertainment. It's a cash only establisment so bring the dollars, but you don't have to spend a lot to have a good time. There's also karaoke Thursday where you get to hear the locals sing their favorites again and again.The bartenders are great and friendly.The regulars give each other a friendly hard time and there's almost always some good barroom talk entertainment to keep the drinks flowing.So, no, I don't want to tell everyone about The Fawn cause I like it just the way it is, but I am telling you about it because everyone should stop in and experience The Fawn.

Wife and I were out on the bike and stopped in the day before new years. Mildly crowded with a bunch of friendly folks. Bartender was on top of her game. Smoker friendly. Had a few and then on the road again. Will be back.
