Who's a lucky dog? You are if you find yourself sitting at the bar of this neighborhood treasure. Friendly staff, friendly strangers, unexpectedly great food. This all at a reasonable price, and served up quickly. It's not a super nice place, a neighborhood bar. But the restrooms are clean, the atmosphere casual. So much so that the food quality comes as a surprise. Obviously, they care, and they are skilled. And the customers care. We just showed up on a lark, we were the lucky ones.

It was so good! My husband and I split the piggy pops that were to die for. They were so tender and just full of flavor. He had the Sloppy Joe special with fries, which were both good. I had the chopped burger Hoagie sandwich, which was great. Good service, too. We sat at the bar and lots of friendly people.

Lucky Dog is more than a shot and beer joint. They have great burgers and other fantastic bar food. Bartenders are very friendly and always on top of things. Patrons are also nice. Stopped in last week and the lady next to us who was out of town bought my wife and I a drink. Just to be nice. So that says it all. Say hi to Tracy, she's wonderful. Remember that Sundays is NASCAR day so get there early. You won't be disappointed. It's just a nice setting. Also the burgers are juicy and they have specials that they run. Give it a try.

Lucky Dog Bar & Grill is a great spot! I brought my nephew and my new dog to this restaurant. Being a new dog owner, I was hesitant to expose her to a new atmosphere so early on, but the staff at Lucky Dog Bar & Grill was extremely welcoming and went the extra mile for her. They brought her a dog bed, a water bowl and gave her lots of treats. I didn't ask nor expect this type of hospitality; they provided it without hesitation. This is a great spot if you want to have good food, cold beer and a good dog atmosphere.
