I will miss the R&S Keystone, which has closed after 75 years, very much. I worked there for 7 years in the l late 80s to mid 90s and have such great memories of that time. End of an era for the Ruth family, the community, and all of us that were lucky enough to work there. Best wishes and enjoy your retirement, JoAnn!

Love this place, very old school but in a good way. Unfortunately about to close but I'll always love the R&S!

Parking: Plenty of spots, all free

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp, and used to helping older folks so great for wheelchairs

Food was always great and Staff is very friendly. It's sad they're closing down.

I have always enjoyed the R&S Diner. The menu is basically the same as its been foe 50 plus years and I grew up on it so its comfort food for me. The liver & onions, chicken croquettes, veal, chopped sirloin, etc are consistently great. My favorite thing is the unique R&S Salad Dressing. If it was any better, I'd wear it lol.

Breakfast was way to overpriced. Coffee tasted horrible, place smelt like moth balls. The service the kicker, the main reason for the review. I’ve never felt such a cold reception from the hostess and server. Such a strange and depressive experience.

The atmosphere is a little dated but the food and service were excellent, especially all of the fish options on the menu.

Do Not Eat Here! This was the worst dining experience I have ever had! The waitress was very rude. The food was horrible. There were 4 of us and none of us had decent food.

I won't go there again. Not much selection on the dinner menu and overpriced. The server was horrible.

Wish the food was not so manufactured. I used to remember their open faced roast beef was amazing and they had a great salad bar.Now the roast beef is just okay and the salad bars closed because of covid.Food is passable and the staff and diner atmosphere makes it a great place to eat and we will continue to eat there!

The food is always good. Desert too.I miss having the salad bar available. Tossed salads from the kitchen are fresh, but are not what the salad bar was in terms of selection of toppings.

We stopped here for lunch on Saturday, November 26, 2022. We are from Minnesota but my wife grew up in this area and she remembers dining here several times back then. Her parents still live in this area and we were visiting them, so we decided to try this place for lunch. It was mid-afternoon, so sort of in between lunch and dinner time as there were only a few other people dining here in this huge restaurant. We were seated at a table in the back room where they have all the quilts hanging on the walls. My wife is a quilter so she examined them up close and she said they stunk badly and needed cleaning. Unfortunately, we were seated at a table right next to one. We ordered water and coffee all around for the 4 of us. The lady brought our glasses of water and said they were brewing some coffee. We then ordered food from the menu. Then.. we waited, and waited. She said the coffee was brewing, so we were patient. 30 minutes later, the coffee still had not arrived. There was now only one other table with a single customer, so being busy was certainly not an excuse. After waiting nearly an hour, our food orders arrived, but still no coffee. I mentioned that we still did not have coffee. The server said, "Oh I forgot". I'm not sure what she was doing all that time while we waited with no other customers to wait on. She is pretty much a poor excuse for a waitress. Finally, we did get our coffee, but never an offer for a refill the entire time we were there. My wife ordered the Tuna Fish Salad Platter - she was not impressed. I ordered the Broiled Fresh Monkfish with Mashed Potato and Baked Beans. The fish was a bit overcooked and tough. The sides were ok but served barely warm. I'm not sure what is going on with this restaurant, but the sign out front was advertising for a PT dishwasher and FT cook. I guess we should have seen that sign as a warning to go eat elsewhere. We certainly will NOT be back here again.

Great food. Friendly, attentive server. Reasonably priced.

I got the Thursday Prime Rib special. It was very fatty and not worth $24.95. I wished I had asked the price before ordwring and gotten liver and onions instead. The server was nice and the rest of the meal was good. Rolls and butter, pumpkin bread pudding, and hot bacon dressing were all yummy.

Local favorite with everything you would expect from a diner. Good coffee, friendly service and great inexpensive breakfast diner food. Been going here since I was a kid and now I’m taking my kid. Love that the Keystone has survived this long. Looking forward to making this my local breakfast stop.

This is a classic American diner. Daily specials with great fish selection and classic dishes like meatloaf, prime rib and roasted chicken. Make sure you get the heart of lettuce with hot bacon dressing. The atmosphere is quiet, wall to wall 80s style wood panels and a counter with stools. Bring the while family!
