I live in Maryland and travel to Reading on business about once per month. I have been going to V&S for about 15 years, ever since one of my work colleagues told me about it. Staff is really friendly and the sandwiches are fantastic! I always try to sample a different sandwich when I go and have never been disappointed...but I am a sucker for the Italian cold cut on a hard roll!!!!

Always enjoy this location the best. They always make sure the sandwichs are packed with meat and with fresh bread everytime.
I'd give this place 5 stars if they answered their phones more. Too often you call there to place an order and are met with no one answering. Multiple tries and still no answer. Each missed call is a missed sale. I worked at multiple sandwich shops as a teen. We were never allowed to let a phone go unanswered, no matter how busy we were.

Great small business that looks to employ family and quality workers. I witnessed a person being trained today and it was a great experience to watch. Sandwich was great!

Now I no why I have not been back to this location on over 10 years. Lancaster Ave location is 100% better. The sandwiches are larger over there they use a different bakery.zmy Onion Ring were nit burnt but tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Then to top it off the employees ae afraid of their boss she keeps a eye on them like the government not any way to treat your employees. I will nit be back to this location. Lancaster Ave all the time

Been going to V&S since the 60’s. Trusted, well done sandwiches which have not failed to meet the demand and provide good Italian Sandwiches.
