Joey's Pizza in Thorndale, Pennsylvania.
Somebody at work told me about this place and after reading many reviews.. Joey's is in the top 10 for pizza and cheese steaks in Pennsylvania. The pizza and cheesesteak were both incredible!!
The pizza was crispy, no flop and had awesome flavor !! Their cheesesteaks are made on fresh Liscio's seeded rolls... soft but a little chewy.. with plenty of shaved prime rib and Cooper sharp cheese, I added mushrooms and fried onions. OMG !! So yummy !! Awesome from the first bite till the last !! 😜
I'm giving the pizza and cheesesteak a 9.25 out of 10 !! 😮
Stop by if you are in the Thorndale, PA area you will not be disappointed... Definitely one of the best pizza and cheesesteaks I've ever had !! 😁

am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your establishment. My son had ordered a pizza from your restaurant, but unfortunately, he fell asleep and was unable to pick it up. When he tried to place a new order on a different day, he discovered that his number had been blocked. He then used my phone to place the order, only to be greeted by aggressive behavior from your staff. Instead of a simple clarification of the situation, your team proceeded to yell at him for not picking up the previous pizza. After recognizing his name, they insisted that he pay for the pizza he hadn’t picked up before being allowed to place another order. Despite the fact that he apologized profusely for his mistake and took responsibility by paying for the missed pizza, your staff's reaction was completely uncalled for. While I understand the need for policies regarding no-shows, it is unreasonable to treat a customer with such hostility for a single, honest mistake. Had this been a repeated issue, I would understand a more stringent approach. However, the way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable, especially given that my son made every effort to make it right. While the quality of your pizza may be good, the behavior we encountered leaves us with no intention of returning to your restaurant. I will also be sure to share this experience with my friends and family to ensure they are aware of the treatment they can expect.
My husband was gifted a cheese pizza by a customer of his. Not knowing he was allergic to cheese, I opted to have it. After having two pieces, I got violently ill and believe I got food poisoning from the pizza. I will never try anything else from Joey's Pizza. Thank goodness it was free because I don't feel bad about throwing it away!!

This is hands down the best pizza in the area! If you’re looking for a truly authentic Italian margherita pizza, this is the spot. They use only high-quality ingredients and never cut corners. The balance of crust, cheese, and sauce is absolutely perfect. On top of that, the owners are incredibly friendly, making every visit an absolute pleasure. A true hidden neighborhood gem!

Diving into Joey’s Pizza is enjoying one of the areas BEST pizza experiences I’ve ever had. Dined in with a buddy over a large pepperoni pizza. The level of craftsmanship and dedication to this culinary staple is unmatched by any local pizza joints (to my knowledge). And I’ve been here since ‘92. Thanks Again to everyone at Joeys Pizza!

After getting berated on Facebook I gave Joey's a fifth try. Sorry but they totally skimp on meat and go way overboard on onions. It's not a bad cheesesteak but it's definitely not the best in the area. The service is great but the sandwich doesn't begin to live up to the hype. Pizza Mia, Italian Village and Caln Pizza all make a much better steak that's more filling.
Wouldn't remake pizza so it wasn't burnt and or give refund sad 😞 use to like this place . I'm never eating their again yuck burnt 😒 😤 pizza oya was told this is a perfect pizza they all come out like this yuck 🤮 who wants to eat burnt 🍕

Joey's Pizza has one of the best cheese steaks around these parts by far. They use custom ordered Liscio seeded rolls, sliced Ribeye chopped but not to fine, and Cooper sharp american cheese. Try one you will not be disappointed.

The cheesesteak was very good with Cooper Sharp and fried onions, a solid 7.5/10. Buffalo chicken cheesesteak was my sons new favorite hands down, chicken was flavorful and not dried out at all. I will be coming back to try the pizza for sure!
