I am not one to give a bad review, but this needs to be said. Denny's is supposed to be open 24 hours, apparently not this one. I was stuck at the hotel next door ,the Quality Inn, because my plane into Philly was fillet so I miss my connecting flight. I walked across the parking lot at 8:30 in the evening when I got there and they were just closed. there was no sign on the door no Rhyme or Reason. the next morning I asked the lady at the desk but my hotel if they were open and she said yes they're open 24 hours. when I got to the restaurant the door was open the tables were all set and the lights were on but no one was there. a man came out of the kitchen and said I can't see you because I don't have any waitress staff yet. he said he couldn't get into the register because the manager was not there yet. there are no other restaurants in the area and there are three large chain hotels surrounding that Denny's. one would think that they could be making a lot of money if they were just let people eat there.

I came into the restaurant last night after a long day of travel on 5/16/25. It was very obvious if they were short-staffed. There was a hostess that seated us and did most of the clearing of the tables, and one server. We had to wait an excessive amount of time to order and to get our food, and it didn't come as I ordered it... however that being said the server was kind and considerate to the customers and it was clear he was doing his best despite being very frustrated. I want to give him a lot of credit for being as patient as he was in a very challenging situation.

Like all Denny's. But we're were in the unfortunate situation that there were not enough servers when we came around. So we had to wait quiet some time for our food. But aside from that everything as always.

This Denny's location in Essington has great staff members that have good customer service skills. The food is good but no always consistent with the eggs being prepared the same way every time. Meaning that a Sunny Side Up egg might not look the same from the next Sunny Side Up egg. Denny's adds new items to the menu every 3 months. Keep up the good work 👍 -Additionally, The Menu is in this review pictures in case any customer wants to see the menu that is in May 2025.
