Enjoyed this restaurant for several decades. Conveniently located off 95 in small town of Essington. Great for lunch or dinner and reasonably priced. If you love french onion soup this establishment has one of the best around.
The service staff were professional at handling funeral luncheon with dignity. Fine choices for entrees.
Parking: This might sound petty since lunches were great. Almost impossible to get hot drink hot.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's not marked so just go up ramp and go in.

The service was great! Amazing wait staff. The portions are hearty and most of what we ordered was enjoyable. Not very impressed with the breading on the flounder - reminiscent of and tasted just like fish sticks. It wasn't fresh fish.
The special, scallops and crabmeat were tolerable. The scallops were rubbery. The bread provided the table was cold, not room temperature, but cold. The stuffed mushrooms were okay.
