They pour a nice pint of Guinness! Food was very good, service was great, and the inside was clean yet unspectacular, very much like an old fashioned Irish Pub. With drinks, appetizer, and entree for 4, $100! You can't beat that! My kinda place.

I walked to this establishment toting luggage under the impression that the kitchen was open until 1 a.m. and to my surprise it’s close early due to customer volume but there were multiple customers in the establishment. Won’t recommend if it’s a random Friday and you would like to eat and they are trying to save cost by closing the kitchen early.

Lay over in Philly, and the the airline booked me in a place 10 mins walk from Monaghan's. Best part of the trip. Wonderful neighborhood bar with a true 'Cheers' vibe. Cheesesteak was legit. Beer cold. Staff friendly and welcoming. Short of reuniting with family, the best reuntroduction to the Stares ever.
