My first time visiting from out of town. I ordered something new to me off of the menu, an old fashioned soda, I wasn’t sure what to expect and the workers clearly didn’t either. The lady had to ask me how to make it and if ice cream went into the product, I had no idea and would still have no idea if she just didn’t ask me.The line was also super long which wasn’t really a problem for me but the lady taking orders specifically said “I don’t really work here I’m just helping” numerous times and I felt that was very unprofessional.

Great location on rt 6. Scenic area with many entrences to alleghany national forest. Clean bathrooms, playground for kids. Ice cream is good, burger and fry combo was good and cheap. Was average wait time. It was a good exsperience

The hot foods are very low quality and over priced. It wasn't always that way
good prices and good ice cream! being used to florida prices, this was pretty cheap! many different flavors, and a wonderful variety.the picture below shows a large ($4) vanilla/chocolate swirl (soft serve!).

We showed up at 8pm after my sons baseball game thinking they were open until 830. Sign said closed but as we walked back to the vehicle the owner came out and insisted we come in even though closed. Soft serve, hard serve, hot food, dining room, putt putt are all available. Perry's ice cream here always fresh.
