This place is 25 miles from my driveway and worth every mile! The good cooking, the friendly service with a smile, the down home atmosphere with obvious 'regulars', the more than reasonable prices, and Sunday breakfast couldn't be better! I LIKE it!

Great breakfast at a great price! Just a good ol' down home dinner! The home fries are definitely homemade and fresh!

Recently discovered this little breakfast and lunch cafe and enjoyed it very much. Service is exceptional and the food is fantastic. The people who come and go are all so pleasant. We will be making this our go to Monday breakfast place.

Small place with a small menu, but they get the items right and they taste great. Which is why the place was busy, not too busy we didn't have to wait to be sat, but tables were full and they were turning tables quick.

Amazing menu offerings for the price.

Great local place where every local runs into someone they know. I always enjoy visiting when in town.

Went here on a tip from a friend, and wasn’t disappointed! Cool small town atmosphere, with awesome food, friendly staff, and great prices. Hard to find gem in today’s world.

Great place to eat not expensive at all.

The restaurant is clean. The food is great. The staff is beyond friendly.
If you are looking for a fancy 5 star restaurant, look elsewhere.
If you are looking for good food, for a great price, in a nostalgic small town atmosphere, served by friendly attentive servers, this is your place. Get there early. They close by 2pm at the latest. I guarantee you won't regret it.

All my friends keep telling me they go to Jak's for lunch often so I planned a group lunch bunch so I could go check it out. They were swamped of course but were great with reserving a couple tables for us ahead. The food was really good. Eggs, chopped sirloin, and potatoes were cooked to order and perfect. Service was a little slow but they were super busy. It's to be expected. In Topton everyone knows your name so it's a great family restaurant where even I ran into someone I knew and I'm new to the area. I can't wait to come again and try the meatloaf dinner plus a few other things. The pancakes were plate size and looked really good too. The chicken pot pie is a fav favorite and really thick with dumplings. PA Dutch style with no crust. FYI - My friends told me they only serve iceberg lettuce and the Cole slaw is shredded not chopped fine. They laughed and said it's not a salad place. Lol.

Great little diner with lots of local food options. You won't go home hungry after one of their breakfast platters! Strong coffee and tea and the waitstaff really hustles in there. It gets busy on the weekends and you might have to wait for a table or counter spot to open, so go early!

Always friendly. Always good food and good value. Often visit for breakfast before I go shooting at the Topton Rod and Gun Club.
