Red Rose Diner Reviews
I loved this place. I stopped in for a late lunch with my three boys last summer as I was driving through the area. It's totally unique and fun. 1920s diner not the standard 1950s. I love the period feel. It's tiny and cute. The staff was friendly and the food was good. So sorry to see reports that it has closed. I was hoping to go back this summer.
Old fashioned throwback. Small 1927 diner is a blast from the past. Enter and step back in time. Very good diner food cooked and served by Scott. Very good meat loaf platter for $8 and very good tasty fish and chips. Delicious apple cranberry pie. The owner, Joe Dupont, sat and talked us about the diner and the area. There is also outdoor seating in back. Glad we tried it.

This is located near a historic theatre. The setting is great. This place was painstakingly restored to it's former glory. It was originally located in Stroudsburg Pa. Gordon Tindell restored this and brought it here to Towanda in 2005
