Pure Truth Culinary Services was a pure delight! We had a surprise birthday dinner this past Monday, and everything went perfectly. The food was delicious, and there was so much of it that we are still enjoying leftovers three days later! This option is so much better than going to a five star restaurant. Also, Chris and Leslie were incredibly easy to work with and were great communicators! If I could give them Michelin stars, I would :)

My husband and I had the distinct pleasure of having Pure Truth Culinary Services as the caterer for our August 2024 wedding. We began working with Chef Chris and his wife Leslie in early 2023 to curate the perfect menu. This team worked tirelessly to ensure we had the “Wedding of the Year” Our food was amazing and our guests are still talking about the creativity, care and taste of their chosen meals. We chose a plated meal.

For context, our wedding was held in Maryland and the Pure Truth Team is located in Philadelphia. Chef Chris made several trips to our venue to ensure he had the proper equipment to essentially build a kitchen at the venue! In addition, he hand delivered our tasting choices and listened to our likes and dislikes to curate an outstanding culinary experience from cocktail hour to cake cutting. Leslie was extremely communicative, gave me great ideas, and even snapped pre wedding pics for me.

The Mingo’s

We recently hosted a brunch for our company anniversary and our guests loved the food and friendly service. Folks especially loved the smoked gouda mac and cheese. We will be booking again! I hear they also do private dinners as well.

I had the pleasure of attending/experiencing one of their Private Garden Supper Series. The vibe , the people and the food was amazing . The chefs knew their assignments and executed it with such love and professionalism. I had the Butter Chicken Roulade which was cooked to perfection and my partner had the Chilean sea bass which came with a ginger forbidden rice..when I tell you that the taste was amazing is an understatement. And for dessert we had carrot cake w/ orange cardamon ice cream ..let's just say I am still dreaming about this carrot cake . Thank you for truly taking us on a culinary experience .

We had the immense pleasure of having a private chef cater for our book club gathering, and it was an experience that transcended mere culinary delight. From the moment chef Chris arrived, he exuded a level of professionalism and passion for his craft that was palpable.First and foremost, the food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish and there were many, was a masterpiece, prepared with the finest ingredients and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers that teased our palates to the decadent desserts that left us swooning and very full. Every bite was a testament to the chef's culinary expertise and dedication to excellence.But what truly set our experience apart was the personalized touch that chef Chris brought to the table. He understood our dietary restrictions, and tailored the menu.Chef Chris's warmth and hospitality made the entire evening feel like a celebration among friends and family. He engaged with the group with genuine interest, sharing his recipes and cooking advice. It was as if we had invited a dear friend into our home, rather than hired a professional chef for the evening. We NEVER discussed the book....lol

I absolutely love The Pure Truth Culinary Services! I’ve purchased items at a local farmers market, order their meal prep services and I’ve ordered event catering. The meals are always fresh and delicious, and the service is always prompt and professional. Pure truth Culinary is a wonderful catering team to work with. Chris and Lesllie are the perfect duo to help execute a tasteful event. They were incredibly helpful with planning and super flexible with accommodating our ideas and requests when it came to the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them and will for sure work with them again in the future. They did not leave us with typical “banquet” food. They delivered on an incredible culinary experience. Our guests were wow by our family syle menu and the taste of the food.

Absolutely fantastic! From start to finish Chris and Leslie are nothing but professional. Additionally they are friendly, courteous and flexible. They were able to accommodate my family’s many dietary restrictions all while working within my budget. Our guests complimented the food the entire time they ate. They left our party very satisfied! We are looking forward to another time where we can use Pure Truth Culinary for our catering needs.

I’ve been a customer of The Pure Truth Culinary Services since 2017 and the food, service and overall experience has always been amazing!! The combination of flavors you just can’t get anywhere else. The sweet potato orange cinnamon waffles and shrimp and grits are just one of the many foods I love!! I just can’t say enough about this company, Chris, Leslie and their beautiful family!!

The Pure Truth Culinary Services has completed lived up to and surpassed my expectations. My husband and I used this company for our Christmas Eve family gathering and it was nothing short of amazing. The entire experience has been wonderful. The owner, Christopher is very professional and hands on in assisting in selecting the appropriate and desired food choices for your guests to enjoy. The delivery is prompt and the packaging of the food is clean and simply neat. Every guest at our event raves about every item in the menu and the portion sizes are very healthy- every guest had several to-go plates and we still had food left over. If you haven’t booked with this company you are missing out!!

This year was the best employee appreciation event yet and much of it was due to the support of The Pure Truth Culinary Services.Chris, your cooking, grace and kindness was pouring out of the amazing food. Everything was delicious – really!! We received so many comments about the food, the choices and the elegance of it all. I just don’t know how you pulled it off for 100 people in less than 10 days but you were a life saver.Thank you for your great attention to detail and flexibility throughout the event. Every last detail was noticed.Thank you for all your hard work. Leslie and Chris and their staff went above and beyond in catering to our needs for our annual divagirl wellness conference. They provided extra food for our guests and their boxed lunches were delicious and healthy which were presented in a beautiful bag. Their customer care is phenomenal and exceptional. I highly recommend them and I am definitely a loyal customer now. If all businesses are as attentive and kind to their customers like Pure Truth, then there’ll be more happy people in the world.

My personal Chef is better than yours, and I'm a Foodie! The Pure Truth Culinary Services is amazing. Chris and his team are top notch, I have yet to have a more scrumptious weekly meal prep or amazing private/public YUM fest. The food presentations alone are breathtaking and absolutely delicious to boot. I utilize the services often and have enjoyed every event I've had the privilege of attending. Everyone raves about the delicious beautiful food, including me.

The Pure Truth Culinary Services orchestrated and delivered a spectacular display of tasty bites, leaving us so gratified! Chris and his team seamlessly served up a feast for the eyes and taste buds at our work event. Impeccably presented, we were visually primed for the delicious, coordinated flavors of the different appetizers. Each appetizer was unique, but well-paired with others. The shrimp bites were my favorite (too busy eating them to take a photo). I'm definitely looking forward to our next event! #Hungryeyes
