Amazing venue along with chefs Chris Ferguson and Dahmere Merriweather and the Pure Truth culinary team. This series is a can't miss event. I can't wait for the next one.

COMHAR, a provider of services to people living with mental health and intellectual disabilities, is celebrating 50 years of continuous service to the community. The first celebration was an opportunity to honor our members with a disco dance and catered meal.
While searching for a caterer, Pure Truth Culinary Services was recommended. Working with Chris to design an appropriate menu for people with varying dietary restrictions was done with ease. On the day of the event, Leslie, Yusef, and Chef Dahmere got busy working in the kitchen and setting up the well designed serving tables. The hot food was hot when served and the salad was fresh and crispy. The Mac N Cheese “Martinis”, Pulled BBQ Chicken sliders, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls (Beef and Chicken), Mini Beef Tacos w/ Pickled Red Onions and Micro Cilantro, Mini Creamy Pasta Bowls, Mini Caesar Bowls w/ Roasted Chicken w/ Truffle Parmesan Dust were all delicious! Care was given to ensure that all platters were refilled on a regular basis and that the serving tables remained clean.
At the end of the event, they took great care to ensure that the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived!

Catered from Pure Truth for our birthday party and the food was amazing! Chris and team were so easy go work with and served delicious halal food! Will be using them regularly for events we have!

I had the pleasure of working with Pure Truth Culinary Services for my 55th birthday celebration, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience! The menu was wonderfully diverse, offering something for everyone, and every dish was absolutely delicious—served at the perfect temperature with beautiful presentation.

Communication leading up to the event was detailed and professional. Every question I had was answered quickly, and all of my food preferences were carefully considered and flawlessly executed. On the day of the event, everything was seamless—stress-free and perfectly timed.

Pure Truth Culinary Services was a pure delight! We had a surprise birthday dinner this past Monday, and everything went perfectly. The food was delicious, and there was so much of it that we are still enjoying leftovers three days later! This option is so much better than going to a five star restaurant. Also, Chris and Leslie were incredibly easy to work with and were great communicators! If I could give them Michelin stars, I would :)

My husband and I had the distinct pleasure of having Pure Truth Culinary Services as the caterer for our August 2024 wedding. We began working with Chef Chris and his wife Leslie in early 2023 to curate the perfect menu. This team worked tirelessly to ensure we had the “Wedding of the Year” Our food was amazing and our guests are still talking about the creativity, care and taste of their chosen meals. We chose a plated meal.

For context, our wedding was held in Maryland and the Pure Truth Team is located in Philadelphia. Chef Chris made several trips to our venue to ensure he had the proper equipment to essentially build a kitchen at the venue! In addition, he hand delivered our tasting choices and listened to our likes and dislikes to curate an outstanding culinary experience from cocktail hour to cake cutting. Leslie was extremely communicative, gave me great ideas, and even snapped pre wedding pics for me.

The Mingo’s

We recently hosted a brunch for our company anniversary and our guests loved the food and friendly service. Folks especially loved the smoked gouda mac and cheese. We will be booking again! I hear they also do private dinners as well.
