We brought our entire wedding party here for lunch after our rehearsal, and I can’t thank the staff enough for how they handled it. We had a reservation for 16 people at 12:30 PM — not an easy group size by any means — but they truly gave it their all. The team worked hard to accommodate us, and it really felt like there was no better place to celebrate with a meal.
We did run into a small issue during the visit, but it was addressed quickly and professionally. That kind of service makes a big difference, especially on a special weekend like ours. Great food, warm atmosphere, and staff who genuinely care — I’m so glad we chose this spot.
Highly recommend for large groups or anyone looking for a reliable, welcoming place to eat!
Great food
The best thing about this restaurant are the prices! I had a soda, wrap with chips, and a piece of pie for $11. You can't beat that.
My apple chicken wrap was okay. The whole thing was hot, and there were nuts inside that were both wet and hot. It didn't taste bad, but I think I would have preferred it cold.
The place is small, and the tables are cramped, but I enjoyed my time there.
Bonus tip: Don't go on a rainy day. The parking lot isn't paved (and is full of holes), so you will have to walk through mud on a rainy day to get inside.
Tonight we decided to go out which we don't normally do and of course we read the reviews. After seeing the prices and reviews, we didn't go in expecting much but I will say that our server made the entire night! Her name was Alana and she was sweet as could be to my two kids. They didn't end up liking what was served to them and she took it upon herself to give them some homemade cinnamon applesauce and the cutest little secret box. They laughed about it the whole way home. The mozzarella sticks were really good and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I've had. The rest of the food was adequate, but for a small diner with good prices and great staff, I have no real complaints.
Food very basic and inexpensive.

Restaurant is fine, but on my last visit I experienced the rudest I've ever been treated by wait staff before, and it was from the owner, Tina, no less. Right from when we got in to when we left she treated any questions we had about the food with condescension and contempt. She thoroughly treated us like a bother and an inconvenience every time she elected to come over to our table. At the end of the night, a couple minutes after closing when we're about to leave, we ask to order dessert to-go and get the check that she hadn't brought us. She dismissively argued "Dessert? We're closed!"
She did come over to take our dessert order, but even that went poorly as when we were asking questions about the pie to see if we wanted to order it or not, she blatantly accused us of trying to weed out and steal the recipe, saying "I'm not that stupid!"
We've had a handful of waitresses at The Iron Skillet that were less than friendly before, but none matched Tina's level of abrasiveness and disrespect. I understand that people working in service jobs are rarely treated well and are often underpaid for their work, so I try to make it easy for everyone by being friendly and thankful for their work. But frankly, it seemed to me as if Tina loathed working with customers, and we felt her impatience and contempt during the entire experience. I sincerely hope that if you decide to roll the dice on this place, you never have to encounter the owner. God knows her attitude killed my appetite.
