Drove over 50 miles. No where on their facebook page or website was anything saying they were not open for wine tasting today. Had their hours posted as open till 5 pm. We were greeted at the door saying we are not open for tasting today but if you know what you want to buy you can buy some. Will not be back. Took our business to Mountain Lake Winery.

We had a great time on New Years Day at Joe Perry’s winery. They let us sample all their wines, I believe 19 total. A mix of sweet and dry but mostly sweet which was ok with us. We did purchase a few bottles. We were talking with both owners. They shared a lot of detailed information on the wines and their history. It has a very homey feel as we were sitting at a bar with a commercial size kitchen. Very cool. I think they are planning meals on Sundays in 2022. They let us sample a roast they were making for their New Years dinner. It was very good as well. I think we could have stayed there all afternoon. We will totally go back there again.

Such a great find! Very friendly and hospitable owners, the wine selection is wonderful! Sweet and dry to meet any palate. Would highly recommend checking them out, nice and warm atmosphere, great prices. Support small business!
