We were on a road trip and came across this restaurant. We decided to stop and eat because we were hungry. Well we did the right thing by stopping. The waitress is so nice. I seen her over there kneeled down with one of the elderly ladies talking to her. Another nice thing she did was when my mom asked for Ranch because they forgot it which is a no big deal. She said I'm so sorry dear. This place is truly kid friendly, elderly friendly, and all ages friendly. The food was beyond good. I ate it so fast that I couldn't even enjoy it. I got the Bacon BBQ burger with curly fries

It was alright but one of the plates had food still stuck to the side

Took my mom out for some lunch to a place we've never been before. Unfortunately i hadn't paid quite good enough attention to hours of operation and we got there right before they closed. Even though i hate being that person to show up right before close, they were extremely welcoming, and the food was terrific! Thank you so much! We will be returning!

Parking: Horrible situation in Troy. Very crowded. People drive very fast like maniacs through town. Several blind spots, make it virtually impossible to safely aaccess and leave a parking space. Big truck traffic is scary. Ive almost gotten creamed on several occasions . Drivers don't slow down, especially around blind corners. I try to park on side streets whenever possible.

Good food offerings from a simplified menu. We had the hamburger and an egg salad sandwich with soup. All was delicious and served up quickly.

Food is excellent. If you want old-fashioned diner comforts, this is it! Homemade everything. Sit at the counter or a booth. Spend a little, leave full and satisfied in every way. Why 5 stars for such a small town eatery? Because I like good food, good value and simplicity. You will see

Fresh homemade food is what this place is about. If you want fancy, go elsewhere. If you want food that is phenomenal, well priced and very friendly staff then this is the place. Bring cash, they don’t take plastic here.

We arrived at 2:50 not realizing that they closed at 3:00, as soon as we saw their closing time was minutes off we were going to leave not wanting anyone staying later on our account 🙂 They went out of their way to welcome us and were adamant we stay and enjoy a meal.. we can not thank them enough for welcoming us into the dinner regardless of the lateness of the day! And for a delicious all day breakfast choice.

The food was homemade and delicious. Everyone was very nice even though we got there later than I would have liked for lunch (close to closing time). Things were just as I had hoped for in a small town diner.
