Old school pizza hut straight out of 1996! Sadly, no beer. If you want a healthy dose of nostalgia make the trip to Tunkhannock!

We didn't have anything to do on a Saturday afternoon and thought we'd take the 50 minute drive and eat at this classic dine-in Pizza Hut. I never went as a kid, but as an adult, it was fun! Nice atmosphere, it was busy with patrons, the food was great and we loved our server Reenie. She was super sweet and took care of us. My only regret is not going up to the all you can eat salad bar for $6.99 (which was perfectly clean) and getting a second or third helping, I was too full from my sandwich! Will we be back? If we lived closer, sure! Unfortunately it's too far to make it a regular trip.

Up front, I’m gonna state that the trip to this far away, rare dine-in Pizza Hut was nostalgic for me. If it wasn’t for the nostalgia, my rating would probably only be a 3 for the actual food. Service and atmosphere were both excellent, 5 stars all the way. .

I remember very clearly what dine in Pizza Hut tasted like decades ago, and it’s just simply nowhere near the same anymore; cheaper ingredients and thinner pan pizza. With that being said, it was fun to take pics outside and inside and it did take me back to when I was a kid and used to go quite often to a local Pizza Hut with my mom. The food was better here than my local take-out locations.

I have always loved Pizza Hut more than any of its direct competitors. And this particular location is so nostalgic. It reminds me so much of Pizza Huts and similar venues from the 80s and 90s. The inside look and vibe of this one seems almost frozen in time in some ways.

I’m always sad when I go, though, because it seems like there’s hardly any foot traffic – at least for the sit-down option. And it’s so rare to have this at a Pizza Hut anymore! With the salad bar and everything! I wish more people would avail themselves of the opportunity to get their 80s and 90s on here, so that it remains an option!

I am also sort of surprised how this place is still open, given the dearth of foot traffic that I observe every time I’m there. But for now, I relish the opportunity to stop by here whenever I can, to have a wonderful personal pan pizza – the kind I used to win through the “Book It!” program when I was a kid. Ah…simpler times.

But thank you, Pizza Hut, for existing. And, at this particular location: Thank you, Reenie – you’re lovely!

Two medium 2 toppings , one was dry and had ZERO cheese. Both had cardboard like crust. Ended up just eating something else.

What in the 90s is going on here? My heart was so warmed by stopping here with my wife and talking about all the good memories with people growing up. The table cloths, the building, the salad bar, and the pizza... Oh my goodness, so good.

very friendly day staff. Brought me back to old times when you can sit and enjoy your pizza hot out of the oven instead of taking it home and re-heating it. Nice atmosphere and nice people.

My family has eaten here many times but I figured maybe you want to know what it's like, so here it is. It's a great pizza joint, and great staff. It gets busy because, we'll, it's Pizza Hut. There is a salad bar in the dining room and of course regular seating that we all remember.
