5/31/25 We heard this was a real old fashioned sit down Pizza Hut so we made the 45 minute drive. It's was great đ Just like the old days, including the all important big red plastic cups! Got a chicken Alfredo, large x cheese pan, and tried the deep dish pizza. It was all hot and good. Throw in a couple drinks and it came to $65 + tip. The restaurant was busy but pretty clean. We'll be back đ

Old school Pizza Hut. Iâm sure itâs all the same ingredients as other Pizza Huts, but it was super clean, staff were friendly, and the pizza was cooked with care instead of thrown together, so it tasted fantastic.

This was such a wonderful, nostalgic lunch! It's like stepping back in time. Just brings back such wonderful memories of my younger days !
When I placed my order on the phone, it appears that my call was handled by a call center and not the store itself in Tunkhannock, PA. I was told by the gentleman that took my order that they did not have the Garlic Parmesan sauce for the pizza. I always get that sauce on my pizza. When I picked up my pizza, I asked the lady that served me if they were out of the Garlic Parmesan sauce and she stated that they were not out of the sauce. I explained what I was told when I placed the order, and she told me that this happens frequently when the call center is used for ordering. I was not asked to re-order what I wanted and had to take the pizza that was ordered through the call center, even though it was not what I wanted. I was told that I needed to make sure when I order that I am not speaking with the call center, I am then to hang up and call back until I reached the actual store. This is unacceptable and I advised the store that I would be talking with Corporate about this issue. The Pizza tasted terrible and there was no extra cheese as ordered!
I heard that Pennsylvania only had one CLASSIC Pizza Hut restaurant, so we had to make the hour and a half drive to check it out. Stepping inside was a wave of nostalgia including the old âplease wait to be seatedâ sign, the red and white table cloths, the salad bar, the Pizza Hut lights above the tables, and the red plastic cups. Our service was great and the atmosphere was even better. I wish Pizza Hut would notice how good these Classic restaurants are and open more of them. Saturday at lunch time and this store had a full crowd shortly after we arrived!

We stopped here on our way home going thru Tunkhannock and it was like stepping back 30 years... salad bar...pizza was good... and quick service. Didn't have one complaint.

I had an online order and went through the drive thu window. Employees was super friendly, food was hot, the food was good, and the price was reasonable. Really can't ask for much more. I've been a pizza hut customer for a long time and this was one of my best experiences. I will definitely be a repeat customer in Tunkhannock.

This Pizza Hut is a hidden gem and a must-visit if youâre a fan of classic, old-school vibes. Itâs one of the last locations in Pennsylvania with the original 1980s dĂ©cor â think red vinyl booths, stained glass lamps, wood paneling, and that cozy dine-in experience so many of us grew up loving. The staff was friendly, the food was exactly what youâd hope for (hello, pan pizza perfection), and the atmosphere took me right back to childhood Book-It! nights. Itâs rare to find a place that hasnât been modernized out of its charm. So glad this one is still going strong!
