We drove 2 hours to meet our son, who is from North Carolina but was staying at the Hampton Inn located beside the restaurant for a business trip. From the time we walked in till we left, the atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. Our waiter was excellent. I had the Chicken Chesapeake, it was fabulous!!! Would definitely stop again and highly recommend eating here!

Me and my wife were staying next door at the hotel. With covid they weren't busy for a Wednesday at all. For our appy we split the smoked chicken flatbread which was full of flavor and full of food. I had a nice size ceasar salad for only 6$. For dinner my wife had the bourbon salmon which was cooked and flavored very well. I had the braised beef which was super tender and very flavorful. Each came with tender young string beans and homemade mashed potatoes. Both flavored nicely. Both desserts were delicious and homemade. We also both had a couple of drinks and my bill was under 100.00. The most that I was impressed with is that they are taking covid very seriously, the place was spotless and there is nothing like salt and pepper or even a candle on the table. You get it in packs on the side, your menu is your placemat. All of this takes time and extra money on them. Being from Long island this was our first time eating in a restaurant in 6 months and we appreciated there extra efforts to make there customers happy and comfortable.

My experience at Remington's was very enjoyable. The atmosphere was very comfortable and reminded me of a restaurant you would see in a movie. My server was very polite and professional. My Moscow mule was fresh and crisp, my calamari was tasteful, and the crab stuffed shrimp was delicious. I highly recommend dining here. I also liked the soft lighting on dark warm palette.

My wife and I found this restaurant while out for a Saturday visit to Nimble Hill Winery in Tunkhannock and asked our server for a place to have dinner, she told us about Remington's. It's a beautiful little restaurant in a great area. They have a very nice menu with several specials, a very nice full bar and very nicely decorated dinning area. The food was excellent and the service was even better. I would recommend a stop here for dinner anytime. I would also recommend making reservations, even though they fit us right in without any probably because it was when they first opened for dinner

Service was excellent! Food was awesome! The bacon wrapped scallops and crab bisque soup were perfect starters. Ordered Filet mignon dinner and it came with augratin potatoes and green beans...it was absolutely delicious!!! Cooked perfectly!

This was by far the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. We called to make reservations for 7:00 pm and was told on the phone "the kitchen closes at 8:30 and we are usually out of here at 9". First clue ignored by us. Very unprofessional. We got there at 7 and at first was fine. We got seated, ordered and ate our food, which, was not worth the price. We were sitting there talking, finishing up our drink when the waiter comes over (after the check was paid and tip was given of course) at 8:10 and says "I guess you guys could cross off closing Remingtons from your bucket list". What?? Who says that? It was 8:10. We were so shocked by that we all just sat there looking at each other. At 8:20 the extremely rude, unprofessional, and unclasssy woman behind the bar yells across the room to us that they are closing up. We were not even finished with the drinks that were already paid for! I never experienced such unprofessionalism and rudeness at a restaurant. That was the first time we were there and I can promise it will be the last.

So fine dinning is what you call this place? What a disappointment. Perkins is 10 times better and cheaper.

First off Tunkhannock calls this place fine dinning. NOT. Maybe if you never had a real fine dinning experiance. Its Applebee's dumbed down. Nice abidance but paper napkins (no cloth), No salad fork. Ice berg lettuce for side Cesar salad, however we were offered fresh groung pepper for our Ice Berg salad. Waitress asked if I would like to keep my fork when she picked up my salad plate, LOL we only had one fork. . Pasta was 21 dollars, over cooked/soggy and excess sauce covering it thru out. Veggies from a frozen vegetable pack (Jolly Greeen Giant) were added. Parmesan cheese was like from Pizza Hut in a shaker. Not fresh shaven off a block. Waitress asked how was our salad as she was walking away from us. Like she as in another world. Now My Wifes meal,,,,,Was the special,,Veal in a mushroom gravy sauce. How can I describe veal plunged in a vat of gravy and served with frozen but boiled green beens and mushrooms with a side of instant mashed potatoes. However the french onion and special southwest chicken soup was awesome and thank god the vodaka and gin drinks were great!
