I’ve given this restaurant 3 tries because I wanted to make sure I didn’t just catch them on a bad day. Every time I walked in I always felt “off”..like oh we probably shouldn’t eat here. The floors are dirty. Splatters not wiped off the walls. The food is ok at best. Most of it’s just downright gross. 3/4 of my table got food poisoning yesterday when we were there. Sorry to say, I will never step foot near here again.

Hands down the best restaurant in NEPA. Everything was homemade from the coleslaw to the potato chips! Me and my wife find diners around the area for fun and we stumbled upon this gem!! You have try it!! Also get the carrot cake!!

Ordered a Reuben sandwich with chips got this… when I asked what it was the “manager” said I ordered a Reuben burger…. But when I asked what came on a Reuben burger that she insisted I ordered she could not tell me nor has it ever been a “special “ on the menu like I was told. Not only did I get this but I did not get any “chips” super unprofessional… never once did I get an apology. When I tried talking to the waitress she walked away when I was mid sentence. This poor unprofessional attitude is probably exactly why there wasn’t a single customer in the restaurant on a Saturday night. When I didn’t touch the food and asked for a refund.. that I paid for with my bank card nobody could figure out how to refund my money and ended up giving cash back. Without returning the tax I paid. I’m so dumbfounded and disappointed. I shop locally a lot and honestly I’ll never go back or ever support a business that blames the customer instead of just owning up to the mess up. I’ve worked at restaurants in the past and never ever would this poor ownership been accepted. After contacting the owner they still refuse to still own any accountability this was a 56$ order I never even mentioned how they put my Ruben on a regular bun and they put the Ryebread in the French onion soup that was ordered… when clearly anyone that works in the food industry would know that cheese croutons go in French onion soup … It is very clear that they have the ingredients but they just lack the respect and passion for good cooking and customer service!

I was looking for something a different for lunch. I ordered the Bacon Cheesbuger Platter but instead of regular mayo I got their Timber Sauce (Horseradish Mayo). It was a very good burger even without the sauce. If you're in the area it's a worthwhile stop.

Like most out that area going to the fireplace to eat is just a norm, but they had such a wait and I was hungry. TODD and Rachel's it was. New favorite in my book and I'll say better then the fireplace. My burger was real burger not a frozen patty and my toppings were fresh, Coleslaw was amazing! Server was kind and on top of her game.
Ordered Seafood Platter, were out of shrimp so they gave me more Scallops, haddock was cooked (broiled) but scallops were not cooked! Sad place, serviced was terrible

Went in around 3:30 in afternoon one day last week. I was the only customer at that time. Ordered the 6 oz sirloin with salad and baked potato. I asked for medium rare on the steak. The salad came out quickly and was good. Wondered why it was taking so long for the rest of the food. When it finally came out, the steak was not medium rare, but very well done. The waitress said they will put another one on and took it a2ay. I was hungry so started eating the baked potato. It was obviously over microwaved because it was hard on the bottom. When they brought the second steak out shortly, it was rare inside and had to be sent back again. Finally it came out cooked the way it was ordered. By that time I had nothing else to eat with the meat. I asked the 2aitress if the owner was the chef. She said he wasn’t there that day. I won’t go back.
