I'm very disappointed in my recent purchase, something is different. It tastes like cheap dollar general chocolate candy. I imagine they've cut some corner with economic prices. The staff is always kind and helpful. But I won't be returning, something is different with their candy.

There are candy stores and ice cream places then there's Gardners. Of course the candy store is killer but the ice cream....whoa. This place is far from me but if I'm anywhere near there, I'm going back. I had the peanut butter chocolate ice cream swirl (that's what I call it), totally awesome.

Super cool shop. The malt balls are one of a kind. They have everything! All varieties of any kind of candy you're craving and a great little museum in the back. The ladies in the front were very attentive and helpful. They also worked great together helping each other to get us squared away.

I remember the first time I had the Gardners Peanut Butter Meltaway 45 years ago. My neighbor gave me one. I was about 10 years old. It was amazing. If you get the chance to stop into the store, it is a beautiful place.
