Lunch special includes entree, soup or salad. I has crab soup. The soup was okay but had a huge amount of peas! Skip that and go for salad. Eggplant parm was excellent. Spaghetti was a bit over done. Bread was really good. So was the iced tea.

As a tourist in town for the weekend, I was hoping this local Italian restaurant would make a great Saturday night dinner for me and my girlfriend. But each course of our meal was bland and disappointing, and we paid $85 for the privilege.

The fried green tomatoes appetizer featured watery tomatoes, scant bits of goat cheese and a poorly seasoned breading. The house salad came with a solid Italian dressing, but the olives and cherry tomatoes were nearly flavorless. And the sausage and red pepper pizza, which I was hopeful would redeem the whole meal, proved just as disheartening. The crust was decent. But the tomato sauce could have been from a can, and the red peppers seemed almost certainly to be from a jar.

Surrounded by such idyllic farmland, this local restaurant should have access to flavorful, in-season vegetables on an August weekend. Instead, it tasted as if they’d picked them up from the local Walmart.

If you go, try some of the pasta dishes. They were heaping and looked better. But maybe take your $80 and buy a couple of classic pub dinners elsewhere.

The bottom line is I left with a bad taste in my mouth. My brain registered that my stomach was full, but all I felt was a dull ache of dissatisfaction.

What a wonderful experience! We brought the kids out for the first time and taught them a little etiquette. Everything was outstanding and large portions also. I haven't seen my boys eat that much in a really long time. The hostess was very sweet to us. We were seated right away. We were even there a little after closing and we were made to feel very welcome to finish. Can't wait to come back!

The hostess was incredibly rude, we had reservations at 5, we were finally seated at 6:15, people with 6PM reservations were seated before us. The waiter waited 20 minutes to take our order since we didn't want drinks. The food was over cooked and chewy. Two of us had the Shrimp Alfredo and got sick.

Food was fantastic! Generous portions really good flavor. The bruschetta was toasty but yet nice and soft, the French onion soup was well balanced, and delicious. The stuffed mushrooms had fresh seafood In abundance. The waitress was great, personality was charming and she was on top of it. Came here as a recommendation from a work friend and was a great experience.

We had a wonderful time eating here. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was perfect — I love the Godfather theme. But the best was the service. You rarely get waitresses like Hilary in 2025. It was a great dining experience!

Lovely place to try something different from the typical chain Italian food restaurants. Make sure you have a reservation as there is not a lot of seating. You have to call to reserve a table. The fresh bread is delicious with olive oil. I recommend the crab stuffed shrimp. The peach sangria was not what I expected. I would try a different drink next time. They give you huge portions here. Service is perfect. The cannolis are fresh filled and recommended.

The food has been amazing both times we have been there. The wait staff is on the ball and the food is on the table in a fairly decent time. We will be going back, more things on the menu to try!

Ok. My salad w grilled chicken was not generous w toppings or great overall and I would not order again, but at least it had good greens and home made balsamic dressing. my husband’s side salad that I ate had only 2 forkfuls of greens. Just not my day! He liked a bean soup, loved the loaf of fresh warm bread, said chicken parm was slightly over done but a very nice chicken breast. Clean and new, nice atmosphere and nice people.
