Very nice restaurant run by a family for 20 years (we had a chance for an extended talk with the chef). The food was wonderfully prepared (my wife had scampi; I had halibut). Very pleasant experience.

While this is tucked away from Main St, Uniontown; this place boasts a wonderful menu and service! This small business gets 5 stars from me. My party of 3 loved all their meals as well. We had braised scallops, chicken with pasta, a classic Italian dish, and veal dish. The appetizer of tomato bread was fantastic! Please try that if you get the chance. They all raved over their dishes and we accompanied our meals with a glass of wine. Our salads were delicious and came with house made dressings. We had the white chocolate cheesecake for dessert and it was the perfect ending.A couple of caveats:you order by the glass and are unable to order bottles of wine.We did have the place mostly to ourselves because this venue doesn’t get much attention tucked away. Most places were closed which changed our search area or we would have missed this establishment. We were unsure of where to park but did follow one of the side roads along the building. Some signage would be great.A few ideas to spice up dinner: oil to dip for the bread that comes with the meal. I saved mine for my salad dressing which was lovely. We ordered a small side of pasta with our mains because it does not typically come with the entree. Adding this was perfect together! For a new place and our first time; it is a new staple in our group. Excellent staff and a small bar is also on site!We could hear the kitchen pounding meat at times which became fun for us to gaggle over. We plan to revisit this establishment. 4.5 stars from this gal and stumbling upon this turned out to be a very nice dinner.

It's hard to find a restaurant that actually "cooks" a meal from scratch, as opposed to just "assembling" pre-made ingredients. We enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal of strip steak, and veal Romano. The owners are cordial and made it a point to meet and talk to guests. We did not mind the short wait as we got a quality meal.
Very long wait for food. Arrived at 6:45 with reservations and are still waiting at 8:30 for our meal. We can hear lots of conversation in the kitchen and there were not many other tables. I doubt the food will be anything special.
Absolutely love generations!! Service is great, the food is to die for!!!

This was our first visit to this family owned/operated restaurant. We were seated in the main dining room and were the first guests to arrive at the restaurant for our 6 PM reservation. The two front dining rooms began to get seated and it was clear that at least two of the tables were "regulars". You could hear the veal (and chicken I was told) being pounded in the kitchen. I ordered the Lemon Chicken. My date ordered Penne Alfredo with Chicken. We both had crisp fresh salads (wonderful). We finished with the dessert of the night...brandied strawberries over vanilla ice cream. I think the Chef brought this to our table. I'm Italian. I liked the food here much better than Caporella's, Meloni's and Marilyn's on Main. The sauce for the Lemon Chicken was delicious and the chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork. We'll definitely return to this restaurant. But, I'm getting the veal next time! ;-) The food was truly good and worth returning despite some drawbacks (detailed below). The drawbacks are why I didn't give 5 stars. I would have given 3 stars (because of the wine) but the food is good enough that I felt 4 stars was more appropriate. Some drawbacks: 1. The outside parking lot needs some prettying up. Because we were the first people to arrive, there were only 2 cars in the parking lot (probably employees). The area was scraggly and could be better with minimal money spent. 2. The wine list is...simply put...awful. Wines by the Glass are the only option. Those are Woodbridge or Cavit. I don't even cook with those wines. I asked about bringing our own bottle next time and asked about corkage fees. But, our waitress said it was against their liquor license and we couldn't do that. Honestly, this would be a reason for me to NOT choose this restaurant in the future if I was in the mood for some decent wine with my meal on a Saturday night. 3. There is no music. When we first arrived it was deathly quiet. Some instrumental music playing would be very nice. We could hear the other tables clearly and even carried on a conversation with another one of the tables. It was pleasant and friendly but some music would do wonders to set the tone and atmosphere. 4. There are a ton of family pictures in the main lobby. They were interesting and I would have liked to view them but felt uncomfortable just standing there looking at them. There were no pictures in the dining room on the walls. Why not put some of these in the dining rooms for your guests to enjoy? If you go to this restaurant, feel comfortable ordering anything on the menu. I'm sure it will be tasty and wonderful. But, don't expect to pair your meal with a glass of wine. As long as you have those expectations going in, you'll have a wonderful experience.
I would recommend Generations to anyone. The food was amazing (again), as well as the service. Oh, and don't forget the Angel Pie.
My meal, chicken Marsala, was good. Both my wife and I started with pasta e fagioli was good, not great, but good. My wife’s meal was over cooked and tasteless. I don’t know if I can recommend this place.
This place is hands down the best Italian food I've had in my life. The alfredo sauce is insanely good. I could honestly drink it. The family who owns the restaurant is so friendly and accommodating. Eating here feels like Sunday dinner at your Italian grandmothers house. Great food and cozy atmosphere. I definitely recommend!

Although the menu is small, the food is great. I have never been disappointed by my meal. The Chicken Parm is the best ever. The angel pie is to die for. The atmosphere is so welcoming. We are treated like family. Anette D.
