Sadly the Uniontown location is now closed. We went there today (2/24/2025) and all signs have been removed.

Seriously one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Culinary intern, Gordon Ramsey was working on location today and did a great job!

They have a great breakfast bar that has about anything you'd want. The staff is friendly and kind. The place is clean and the prices are mid-range. If breakfast is your meal, it's worth a stop.

Very pleasant restaurant to enjoy a good meal.

The only thing more well presented than the traditional down-home eats on the food bar were the friendly and helpful staff! I came from out of town for work and made it a point to try this establishment and I was NOT disappointed.
Special shout-out to my server, Cindy!

Everything about this Shoney's location is amazing. It's nearby a lot of shops and it's not too far of a drive for myself nor my family. I love ordering the Teriyaki (judge me if you want, haha) which always comes to the table warm and scrumptious; 10/10 right there. The staff is another 10/10 as they're always there to refill cups or provide seconds if you're daring. Lastly, the Shoney's classic: The Hot Fudge Cake. This is probably the reason you came to Shoney's but if you're not in the loop, let me explain. This creation of a confection was sent straight from Heaven to be enjoyed by the people. From the ooey, gooey fudge topping to the head-achingly cold ice cream, this sweet treat is a warm hug to your pallet. Thank you personally, Shoney's, for making every day better!! ❤️

Shoney's of Uniontown is consistently delicious and their staff is super friendly. We go here fairly often and always enjoy a good meal. The staff keeps your drink refilled and the food comes out quickly and done right!

My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch/ early dinner 2:45 on a Monday (Columba’s day) there was a sign on the door that said closing at 4 today. Should have turned around and walked away at that.
We were seated by who I’m assuming was a cook or someone from the back. He didn’t bring menus at first. Being our first time ever to a Shoney’s we were unsure of what they had. Ended up deciding on the buffet. Oh boy was that a mistake!
The ranch dressing was bitter. The green olives were gray instead of green. I got saltine crackers for my broccoli soup and they were stale. (The soup was the only decent tasting thing I had). The strawberry sauce stuff for on the little round cake was sour. The potato wedges tasted like used cooking oil. The ribs were rubbery and hard to eat. My husband had the fried chicken which he said had no taste. He had a burger and a bun (that was in a baggie on the buffet)the bun was stale. Over all the food was not good.
When we went to check out the computer system had crashed. The owner or manager came out and attempted to use his square for us to pay since the computers were down but it was for iPhone and he had an android. We scraped together cash between my husband and I to pay the $36 bill for our terrible food and headed home. Before getting half way into our hour drive home we were both sick to our stomach. This will be the first and only time I will ever eat at this Shoney’s not sure if I will try a different location as I’m not sure there are any close to me.
The evening waitress came in while we were checking out and apparently found out they were closing at 4 when she arrived for her 4pm shift.
