Fresh seafood and frozen shellfish products.Cooked (Huge) shrimp in shell were tasty as was the crab imperial ($5.95 for one). I also got some crabcakes (they look great) and frozen lobster tail meat (expensive - but that is anywhere.)So far I tried - Jumbo cooked shrimp in shel l- excellent.Crap Cakes - fantasticCrab Imperial - wonderful but very rich.Still waiting to try lobster tail meatShrimp and Lobster bisque.Parking is a challenge at rush hour.

Now! Racism still exist!I’ve been to this place twice when they were in Upper Darby! It ran pretty smoothly efficient and customer service wasn’t bad at all! I usually get the blue crabs! I decided to give them a try and travel to their new location where I felt totally out of place for a biracial women!I placed and order over the phone and by the time I arrived it was not done. I waited patiently out front until a “Karen” drove up starred at me while walking in and when I walked in starred at me until I literally had to speak. Now I’ve been parked in the same exact spot not in anyone’s way while others who were there before me seemed to have no problem getting out I was in no one’s way no one! Not blocking a garage nothing! I waited in my car as they told me 5more minutes nearly 10 mins ago. I go back in to the woman looking at me said “hi” she looked like I was a ghost and a robber at the same time! The middle aged man says you need to move your car! I asked well how long is my food going to take now I can pay and leave because the time has passed.he said to me I mean we just dropped them so it don’t matter you can go! I did what I was suppose to do leave and spend my hard earned tax paying dollars else where! I’ve never felt so out of place and in such a racist moment! I wish racism would end! But I will never spend a dime here nor recommend any of my biracial or Black people to spend their money here!

I have been calling the Bryn Mawr location for 2 days and get an immediate busy signal. They must have the phone turned off. I know this is a busy time of year, but they should respect their customers enough to at least have a recorded message explaining why they are not answering. The Upper Darby location was so much better. I wish I knew why they closed. I have been going there for over 20 years. Sad.

I ordered 3 platters the flounder platter was very skimpy the flounder was the size of a toddlers palm no exaggeration the shrimp were dried out and scallop were very small I will never patronize this place again you learn from your mistakes

We needed sal cod and scallops... They had plenty of both. We usually go to the Upper Darby location but happened across this store coming home from lunch in Wayne. Happy we found it.

Been shopping here for years. I am an exacting cook and look for seafood stores with a great range. Their products are always the freshest in the area and their prices very fair. Service is attentive and friendly, and consistent. Really top notch and my go to place.

The seafood here is always reliably fresh, and tastes noticeably better (even in a blind taste test) than seafood bought from stores such as WFM and other large grocery chains. We buy salmon, grouper, scallops, and shrimp.They also prepare other items on-site such as clam chowder, soups, crab cakes, all of which are of excellent quality.

Allowing just 2 customers in the store at a time. Accommodating, knowledgeable staff. FRESH FISH! Reasonable prices. Encouraging cash payment - 3% surcharge on credit card payments. Can be difficult parking. I won't be buying fish anywhere else.

I have been coming to the Garrett Hill location for years and spending about $100 weekly on very good fresh fish and chatting with nice guys behind the counter. Today my wife made a purchase and quickly noted that her phone screen related a charge of more than the amount of the fish purchase. She asked why. Employee told her there was a credit card surcharge. Having a surcharge on the card is their prerogative. However, there is no sign in the store showing this, nor did the counter man announce this before summarily charging the card for more than the price he stated. Guess what? Our business with Bywood is over. We had referred a number of new customers there, and now we will relate how we were sneakily treated at the register. I hope their underhanded maneuver is worth the few thousand dollars per year of our business they’ve lost. Be careful folks…..if you use a CC, the price is not the price!
