The food is good. The customer service is terrible. The lady that runs the cash register always has a nasty attitude . I’ll never spend my hard earned money at this place again.

Just moved to Philly and came across this gem in the parking lot behind Popeyes. I went in and got the Boneless Jerk Chicken with two sides, and have been coming back ever since. 10 outta 10 totally recommend if you want authentic Jamaican food

As a Jamaican it's the best I've had in PA and I've been every where incl Pittsburgh. Their food n service is 10 out a 10

My mother and I ordered oxtails and curry goat, with rice and peas and an additional side of greens. Overall the food was pretty good, although I have to say that my curry goat was much much tougher than I expected. The sides were very good and my sorrel ginger was fantastic. So, I give the food a 3/5.

However, the customer service? Whew! Look, I understand the lady taking orders had a headache, I sympathize with that. But when your whole attitude screams "Go away!", well, I almost did. And the folks on the line weren't making up for her deficiency, but I appreciated that their attention was on getting folks served fast. We met one of the cooks, who was just as sweet as could be, so overall interaction with the staff was uneven. Would we go back? Maybe.

I hate to review places but this place was so rude and the food was not good. Chicken was dry, Mac was dry and the cabbage had no taste. If you’re gonna give poor service PLEASE have something to offer. If you want good tasting Jamaican food don’t order here.

This was my second time ordering through Uber and not in store. In store I normally don’t have a problem but I ordered a large ackee and sailfish plater with fried dumplings and plantains. I ordered Two drinks and my drinks never came. When I called the store the lady tells me that the Uber driver was supposed to get the drinks, i replied how does the driver get the drinks if he doesn’t know where they are? She asked me if I can come pick them up, I said no I’m at work that is why I had the food delivered in the first place. She apologized but my breakfast was already ruined. the last time I ordered breakfast two weeks ago when the Uber driver got there they told him they didn’t have an item I ordered and the driver took the time to call me not the store. Smh it’s not that difficult but you charge people for items that they don’t receive and are not paying attention to simple orders. No more Uber orders that this place. I still love the food but it’s sad the Uber orders are not executed right.
There was also bones in the salt fish. So disappointed.

Recently ordered oxtails, macaroni yams, and it was so good!!!!! They get 5 stars, The staff was pleasant, and they even threw in extras for me to replace the item that they didn’t have. I highly recommend Carib Grill.

Located this restaurant through google from the Signage to the ratings attracted me to try them out. Well I’m here to tell you what I ordered Curry chicken rice and peas and cabbage, oxtail white rice and Mac and cheese. EVERYTHING SCREAMED AUTHENTIC AND TASTED AMAZING. Compliments to this BOB for exceptional food and atmosphere. I live in New Jersey but I will definitely visit again on my trips to Philly. They were out of brown stew chicken so I hope to try that on my next visit . 5Stars for sure.

I don't know why this place got a low rating on reviews, it's the best Jamaican restaurant around here. The food is well porportioned and taste absolutely delicious. Service could be better, the wait time is longer than most. I called to order my food 40 minutes before and ended up waiting 30 more minutes when I got there. Overall I wouldn't eat anywhere else but here!

The curry chicken was absolutely disgusting. The rice and chicken was so overcooked, you didn’t even have to chew. There was absolutely no seasoning. It is the worst curry I’ve ever had in my entire life!

I’ve been a loyal customer.. their jerk chicken is the best however, their timing, customer service and lack of accountability is HORRIBLE! I literally come every weekend and each weekend I’m waiting 30min for Jerk chicken alone. Even if there are only 2-3 customers in the store. Today, 3 people were sharing, 1 on the register and 2 cooks in the back. I called for an order and was put on hold for 10 MINUTES, hung up, called back 3x and it went to voicemail because.. of course the phone IS STILL OFF THE HOOK. I then went in to order and waited another 24 MINUTES! It pisses me off to think they believe I have time to waste. The cashier had her elbows rested on the counter while taking my order as if I was bothering her, the Plantains I asked for had to be fried by the first cashier. I asked for them to share a large soup while they made my jerk chicken to avoid a wait and was told NO YOU HAVE TO PAY FIRST. As if I wasn’t there long enough! No one said thank you, have a good day, your food is ready NOTHING! Another thing, if I’m lucky to get someone on the phone, place an order while 20 minutes out BECAUSE OF THE LONG LONG WAIT, expecting my food is ready and waiting, I’ll go inside to find it’s not even been shared yet and GUESS WHAT,, WAIT ANOTHER 20-30 minutes! As a Jamaican restaurant I check for, DO BETTER! This is ridiculous!!! I never complain but it is getting WORSE BY THE DAY!
