Staff is very friendly and the ingredients seem to be fresh, however the flavors are bland. I don’t think they use salt at all. There’s no “bite” or hint of anything no cilantro taste. Just bland. Most if not all of the Mexican restaurants I’ve been too has a distinct lime flavor to the guacamole at least, this one is ridiculously flavorless. Ordered nachos a few weeks ago and I honestly could have done better at home. Wish they threw in a few wedges of lime or something to help.

We ordered a torta al pastor and enchiladas verdes. Everything on both plates was delicious except for the chicken in the enchiladas, which was not so good, but I was still very happy with the meal. I wouldn't recommend dining in if you're looking for a quiet eating environment, though - it was pretty noisy in the restaurant between the loud salsa music and the loud thumping (??).

Update 2/2/23.My second visit from Maryland..well worth the ride. The food was just as good as last year. Service was great, excellent bargain for the price.The burritos are no joke. Full and can feed 2.The Best of Philadelphia Magazine 2023 New Tacqueria, I know why.A great find in Upper Darby, just off West Chester Pike.Authentic and delicious Mexican food.The Birria tacos..fabulous.The Roast Pork tamale was full of meat and a perfect masa, not dry at all. This is after traveling back to Maryland and reheated the next day. That says it all.My friend had the chiliquellies. She is from Southern California, she knows Mexican food, she loved them.Hardworking owners who know how to make you feel welcome.I can not recommend this small spot enough.

I ordered a chicken burrito which was supposed to have chicken rice, lettuce, cheese, beans and more grated cheese on top. What I got was bland rice with a little bit of chicken in the burrito. There was a very small amount of sour cream squeezed on top. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla and beef tacos. Neither of which had the cheese that they said would come in the meal. Both were flavorless and in my opinion not even edible. When I tried to call the restaurant with my dissatisfaction, at least get a partial refund they told me to call DoorDash. Then DoorDash told me it is on the restaurant to provide the refund. So no refund and food in the trash. what a waste!
