I order from here pretty often i LOVE LOVE LOVE the lamb & rice platter & the potato wedges. Giving 5star review bc besides i love the food, i also feel so bad an unfortunate thing happened to both us the consumer and the business because of the delivery driver. We ordered from grubhub as we usually do and it appears the delivery driver stole $50 worth of food and cancelled our order. Im not even sure why the driver is allowed to cancel our order like that, so its terrible theyre out of that $ as well as we dont have our food. So we called halal food king and they were super helpful and advised to order instead on doordash bc the drivers are nicer.

I absolutely love this halal spot — it’s hands-down one of my favorites! The fish sandwich is the star of the show: perfectly crispy, flavorful, and always fresh. It’s packed with just the right amount of seasoning and the sauces they use take it to the next level. Every bite is satisfying. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. Highly recommend if you’re craving a great halal meal — especially that fish sandwich. 🙌🐟🍔

He told me his own children eat here, which gave me confidence. He also offered me another platter, and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. I truly appreciate the way he handled the situation and turned it around

My son and g-son wanted food so we went here. The wait time was not too long but my g-son food was incorrect. We clearly stated we wanted white sauce and hot sauce on both the chicken and salad. There was too much hot sauce, no white sauce and the little bit of lettuce was wrapped in foil. Not the experience we were hoping for.
I ordered the lamb over brown rice with Tzatziki sauce. Abundant and tasty.

I spoke with one of the workers and they said they compare their prices to those of the most popular Mediterranean trucks to ensure their customers get the best price. Even though a drink isn’t included, the price still beats any current Philly food truck around. I have always had a pleasant experience despite how busy they get.
