I recently moved to Upper Darby and was looking for a place where I could eat clean, and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I ordered the chicken biryani, salmon with rice, creamy spinach, and samosas—everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and truly home-cooked, like it came straight from my own kitchen. It’s such a great feeling to eat out and still feel like you’re eating real, wholesome food. The food was excellent, and the customer service was beyond outstanding. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

We had food from here for new year family gathering we order smosa chaat,veggi pakora,paneer pakora,chicken biryani, butter chicken,garlic naan ,gajar halwa,lamb over rice, mango lassi,Tandoori chicken , and malai boti everything came out fresh and and good portions family love the food we will be back for sure Thanks you so much HALAL KABAB AND CURRY TEAM for making our family gathering special with delicious food . First time here, the food was excellent. My wife and I had a great time. Everything was good and we ordered some samusa, and Cheese dumplings or dessert. My wife ordered the lamb teca and I had the hallau mix. Both very, very good foods very very well made spicy, but not overkill and the ramas rasmel is very good, so come to this place Kebab and curry.

Had take out tonight. We both ordered a different lamb order. Both of the sauces were watery and only a little lamb that was tough. Way over priced for what we received.

Just wanted to leave a review because I’ve been getting food from Halal Kabab & Curry for a while now, and it never disappoints. This place truly delivers authentic Pakistani flavor. The food is always delicious, rich, and full of that home-style taste that really hits.
The seating area is small with limited space, which I wasn’t aware of since this was my first time dining in, but it’s still comfortable. Takeout is always a solid option as well. What really stands out is the service. It’s friendly, fast, and consistently great every time, which is a big plus.
I’ve tried several dishes here, and by far my favorites are the chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken. They’re always on point. Every order I’ve placed has come out fresh, hot, and with generous portions. You definitely get your money’s worth.
They offer a wide range of Pakistani dishes, including appetizers and vegan options, which really shows how diverse and well-rounded their menu is. I also love that they have a great selection of breads like naan, paratha, and roti. That variety truly completes the meal. The staff is welcoming and makes the overall experience even better.
The only thing I’d love to see in the future is more breakfast options, especially a classic desi breakfast like halwa and puri. That would be amazing.
I’ll definitely be leaving another review soon with pictures to give a better look at the food and share more details. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Pakistani food with great service.

I wouldn't go here again, tried Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Pakoora, the Pakoora was fine but the Tandoori was bad, it was too dry, no salt, didn't like it at all.
Best food in town. Searched forever for a good chaat, finally found it.

We ordered it up and absolutely loved everything. The flavors were rich and comforting, the portions generous, and the food tasted fresh and homemade. We enjoyed it so much that we actually went back a second time and brought some friends along — and once again, it did not disappoint!
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic halal food with great service, this place is a must-visit.
