The people who work here all of them are Bangladeshi. The menu is Indian and Pakistani but if you ask them they will try to make Bangladeshi flavours for you. Thumbs up to the chef Hasan bhai .He made iftar for us. And the most lively man there was The manager Sazzad bhai. He is very nice and welcoming

I have been trying different Indian restaurants out and I went to this one today. I ordered chicken korma from the lunch menu and it came with gulab jamon and a piece of naan. The korma sauce was so nasty. It was super thick gravy like, oily and lacked any flavor. The chicken in the korma was dark meat and had bones in it. I have been to several Indian restaurants and every time I ordered chicken korma, it was made with boneless white meat chicken. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star is because the chicken seekh kabob was good. I could not stomach the chicken korma. It was too disgusting.

It is not the original owner any longer! The taste as to the food is NO LONGER cherished within our Klan. Don't get me wrong, it has taste just not the taste we've become accustomed too.I will try it to see for Yourself!

I wouldn't advise going the management may have changed because the food quality is horrible now. I ordered a chicken saagwala which for some reason the person taking the order didn't know at first. When I picked up my order it was completely different the order is half the size now for the same price and it was barely edible chicken was hard and the saag was a slimy spicy mess. The rice was warm but hard far from what they use to serve. Money down the drain

I order from here often and have had mixed experiences. Just had the worst one today. I ordered a vegetarian meal and they cookedthe food with or added some kind of fish to my food. There is a very potent taste and smell of fish from the vegetable curry/daal. I contacted the restaurant to let them know my food contained or was contaminated with fish and initially the person helping me was nice and offered me a refund but then some guy named Hassan came on the line and started yelling at me and being very disrespectful. I couldn’t understand half of what he was saying because he started yelling before I finished explaining what happened. It was a very unpleasant experience. This place needs better management/owners who actually value and care about people and customers.As a vegetarian I do not expect my meals to contain animal products when they’re labeled as vegetarian. That is not only deceitful but is also illegal. I order this same meal all the time so am well aware of what their food tastes/looks like and am appalled by the rudeness and disrespectful manner I was treated with by this person, and his blatant lies and denial.

HASAN is a Scammer, he is going around different restaurants, and taking money from investors and then threatening to kill.I was threatened by him when I confronted him. He does not have any legal paperwork in this country, using his Wife's documents to open Corporation called Abiha Kitchen. Legal action is pending and he lives on Ludlow st across from the Bar in upper darby. He also owes former employees salaries. Currently he is working in this place and I want people to know what is going on. He took $12,000 as investmentfrom me, and $30,000 from another person for Abihakitchen in Center city. I want everyone to be aware of this Scammer HASAN. Police report is filed and hr is dangerous.

a month agoHasan is a scam artist, took $12,000 as investment for share in his restaurant. He never signed any paperwork or gave me any legal paperwork. I also worked there for 3 months and refused to pay any salary, while he paid himself in my expense. He also owes $800 to another employee and accused him of stealing without any proof. He is very deceptive, dishonest, and disgusting so called chef. Recently health department came to shut down the restaurant over 20 major violations, which I helped to resolve.If you look at the fryer oil, it gets changed in 2 months instead of 2 weeks. ( just look at one review from a customer)By the way most of the reviews with 5 stars are from friends & Family members....I can tell you because I worked there.

My food was so spicy ? with peppercorns In my chicken never again! Oh and I didn’t get the sodas that was offered with my meal and I wanted a kabob with rice not chicken and rice with white sauce.
