Best food in the area. Lamb tikka is my favorite by far. The beans are ELITE. It’s like God came down with a recipe. I purposely stay for fear that I will weigh 500lbs in 2 years. It’s that good. You would be doing your stomach a disservice not trying this restaurant.

Butter Naan is burn asked for butter add oil for taste.gulab jumun I try it was dry no syrup. Never going back again .Just waste my money
The best customer service I have ever received. Came in looking for a a restroom for my son and left with the most enjoyable food ever. After being refused by several stores that I could not use their restroom. The customer service was outstanding the beautiful lady in the front let me into one of the cleanest bathroom that I have ever been in. It smells good very clean and then after I said thank you she smiled and said no problem at allso I decided to order some food to have dinner with my children and all around amazing the food is so delicious and the service it’s outstanding will be back. Definitely my new favorite spot.
So This place had a lot of expectations from my side where I traveled from South Philly to try yet another biryani in Philly but unfortunately I didn't get what I was looking for ..I ordered a veg biryani , which was flavour less and more of a vegetable curry with cauliflower smell all over which isn't that good to have and the rice mix instead of that aroma and spice which will win your heart. The added side Raita wasn't worth it , it's not flavour full at all so all in all a little disappointed..
I had samosa as well which was average..
Beef birani very bad
Upper Darby got a culinary gem with the arrival of the New Punjabi Restaurant! This spot is raising the bar for authentic Indian, Paki fusion cuisine, serving fresh, flavorful dishes daily that leave you craving more.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the chef, a 5-star culinary talent whose skills shine through in every bite. The chicken tikka is perfectly spiced and grilled to juicy perfection, while the goat curry boasts a rich, aromatic flavor that’s absolutely irresistible. From buttery naan to creamy dals, every dish is a testament to the chef’s mastery of traditional Punjabi cooking.
If you’re in the mood for authentic flavors and a truly memorable dining experience, this is the place to be. Delware county/ Philly is lucky to have this hidden gem!

Restaurantji Recommends
Authentic pakistani food. I have never been disappointed. This place is not really for dining in, more like a take out. But I would highly recommend them. Their lahori chaana is a must try.

Bad customer service. They asked me to wait because the workers were eating, which I understand, but the other worker was done eating but still watching tv. No one was available to take my order. And I was the only the only customer in the restaurant. I ordered a couple samosas, and the worker grabbed the samosas with his bare hands. He heated them in the microwave which caused them to be soggy. It was totally not worth the time or money.
Been going to this place since they opened about 8-10 years ago. Great Authentic Pakistani Food.

Food was teerrible. Then cashier over charged me, took my money and closed the register without giving me my change.
Food was good. However I don't know if it was honest mistake, but My friends tell me they have experienced this before so they have not given the full amount of food. For example, we were supposed to get 18 pieces of meat in a plate, but it was at least missing five pieces. So before ordering make sure you ask how many pieces are supposed to come with and then check when the food actually comes.
