The food is good if you manage to get inside. I went to their second location before so I assumed this one was fine. When I got to this one, the woman at the front told me to get chicken next door as I walked in. I just assumed she thought I was lost, until I told her I specifically wanted Korean bbq and she still repeated that to me to, “get chicken next door”.There were very racist vibes and undertones. I would not recommend you frequent this establishment. I hope they get shut down for bigotry.

The food at these places is always great. If you visit Surah while it's slow, your server may even cook at your table for you!

Did you call this rice? Even if I eat it with my feet, it tastes better than my dog’s food. This is not a place for people to eat.

I like to visit this place because they have the Dwenjang Jjigae soup the Soon Tubu sopu. The Dwenjang Jjigae soup and the Soon Tubu soup make this Korean BBQ restaurant different from another Korean BBQ restaurant. I really like the soups here. I have been to this place so many times. Usually I ask for 2 - 3 times Dwenjang Jjigae soup for myself when I came here. But when I visit today, the server limits me just for 1 soup and I can't ask for more. The server told me that now anybody can just have 1 soup per person. I don't know when the rule changed cause usually every time I came I ask for 2 - 3 soups. This really disappointed me. Since they do like this, I think today would be my last visit to this restaurant. Bye bye Surah.

I'm not sure what others do to hate this place so much, but I go on a fairly consistent basis, and I've been over 10 times now within the last 3 years. Most recent was a few days ago on my birthday. Every server we've ever had has always been extremely nice. Maybe a bit of a language barrier sometimes, but nothing a little patience can't get through. The cost of everything is insanely high right now, so the fact I can eat as much as I want of ANYTHING for under $50 is a pretty good deal in my opinion. What finally made me leave a review now, is that it makes me sad to see such nasty reviews, as my most recent experience was my favorite. Their kimchi is my favorite, and when we were done ordering meat, we asked if we could yet just a little more kimchi, I told her because it's the best ? she said of course, and brought over an entire chunk, cut it right in front of us, and put some in containers for us to take home. It was so sweet, and as minor as it may sound, it really made my day. That being said, if you're turned off by the prices, or don't have the patience to take a little extra time to communicate with someone, save them your attitude and go somewhere else.

Food was awesome and came out so quickly. Our server was really great and helpful. It was pretty empty so it was very quiet, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. We got the all you can eat but the server (I am assuming it was the owner) let us bring home our extras and no extra charge. Hidden gem in upper Darby!!!!

I told the lady said I need to order more beef she refused and said she will give me more after we finish. We just have two plate of meat on the table and it is just a little bit.I paid 42dollar for all you can eat.It is so horrible experience. I will not go again. Not recommended at all.

They were so rude I called asking if they had a vegan broth option for my sister who is a vegan and the lady yelled at me and hung up on me because she didn’t understand what I was saying. I understand that you don’t speak full English but you have a restaurant in America so instead of hanging up on me and getting smart, you should try to figure it out or get someone else on the phone, don’t come here. Their manners are horrible.

Price has gone up since I last went here. Food quality is just not as good as what it used to be. Went with a friend and we were both disappointed at the quality. I'll wait a while before coming back, to see if it got any better, but for now, I need to find another KBBQ

Been here at least 2 dozen times in the past 3 years. The service has gotten worse as time has gone by and the prices have gone up. The lady there now sits on her chair and lounges the entire time - we have to literally get up and walk over to her and ask her if we need something. Also the food is not the same anymore :( they use to have amazing galbi but it seems they have stopped marinating stuff and meats are old. It’s a shame this place has gone down hill cause it use to be so good.

Very high cost for a mediocre menu and poor service. The lady was not unkind, but she was unable or unwilling to help us understand what we were to do.I can't believe I spent well over $200 for 6 people and the food was meh.
