Tomo Sushi & Sashimi (H-Mart 2nd Floor)

Had so long I hahn’t eat here, still good like old day.

This has gotta be the worst sushi I’ve ever had! The rice was too dry and hard. It was nothing better than the sushi from grocery stores. Yet they have the audacity to charge me $1 for spicy mayo. It’s utter rubbish! Avoid at all cost!

I ordered lunch for a myself and my co worker. I order one order of spicy tuna rolls and one order of California spring rolls, $10 each. When the food arrives, all of the rolls we packaged in 1 container, with 1 set of chopsticks, 1 serving of ginger and 1 serving of Wasabi. If I am paying $10 for an Order of sushi rolls, each order should come with its individual packaging. I’ve never been so disappointed with sushi. Total rip off.

Wednesday I came up the escalator to find that there is a buy 2 get 1 free sushi special on Wednesdays! I haven’t gotten sushi here in quite some time, but am soooo happy I did. Shrimp Tempura, Yellowtail Scallion, and Salmon rolls for $18?? And it was extremely fresh, I can’t emphasize the quality of this sushi for the price. I feel like the shrimp tempura could have been cut in larger pieces to avoid them falling apart as much but hey it’s all going in my tummy anyway.

*I ate a couple pieces before I took the picture it looked so good I couldn’t wait
*I promise you the amount of tuna and yellowtail used is not being done justice in the picture! Definitely a solid quantity of fish in the rolls.

I love this place. You wouldn't know it was there unless you go to h Mart. However, I've been here many times and it still has the same menu. They are a bit pricey now, but the kiss of fire is my favorite roll. You can't find it anywhere else. If you get a chance go there you'll see for yourself.

My 10 yr old got the Bento Box with Avacado roll & California roll for $17.95. It was a good sized portion. The Salad was generously dressed with the orange ginger dressing. My son enjoyed everything in his bento box. Sam was friendly and kind when helping my son. We'll be back.

This is actually the best sushi I've ever had. Every single order is 10/10. It's always fresh, made well, and tastes incredible. It's worth every penny. They have a stamp card for a free roll when you get 10 stamps. You HAVE to try this place, and you won't want to go anywhere else. As you can see from photos, we've gone many times! Try them all!

They never disappoint. Sushi is really good. They have cooked options and raw options. They will let you know which is which if you ask them. I am not a fan of imitation crab meat. I wish they had the ability to swap for real crabmeat. However they have a good number of options with out it

I got the chicken katsu bento lunch box. It was so good. I was full and please. Especially with all the items that comes with it.
