Truly enjoyed our dinner here, it felt like eating with family during a holiday. The food was wonderful and very reasonably priced.

I'd heard so many people rave about this place. I finally went and was underwhelmed by the mediocre food and service. The staff were nice but quite disorganized. I was expecting professional, knowledgeable wait staff. What we got were frazzled teenagers.

The Mediterranean salad was terrible. Someone opened a 3 day old bag of iceberg lettuce and added a smattering of ingredients to approximate a Mediterranean vibe. The starter of focaccia was under proofed and bland. The chicken Milanese was pounded so thinly that it was mostly breading and very little chicken.

And you'll notice that all the drinks were served in paper or plastic cups. It felt like we had a poorly planned picnic.

You're paying through the nose for food that might be served at Chili's.

Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. While the family style dining concept was intriguing, they missed the mark on atmosphere and overall food quality. The restaurant was so loud and boisterous, even with only 20 people dining, conversation at our own table was impossible. The appetizer of roasted vegetables was the clear winner, but at $80 a head, certainly not worth the price of admission. The main course of pasta and oxtail was void of flavor and sadly boring. We actually took dessert to go, tiramisu, which was tasty. Our server did ask if we enjoyed the oxtail, which we replied not really, and then she simply walked away. Always interested in supporting small independent restaurants but unfortunately we would not dine here again.

We attended a family style meal on January 31st 2025 ,the atmosphere was similar to a cold garage. It was so loud in there that I had to put tissue in my ears.
We were sat at a table that seats eight and unfortunately the other two couples couldn't make it. In total there were six of us at the table. Two couples we didn't know and my wife and I. The first course was roasted vegetables which were quite good. The second course was roasted squash soup which again was good however a bit on the sweet side, very reminiscent of baby food. Then we were served rice balls stuffed with cheese. We were told only to take one and pass it along. The pasta course which was very small, was lacking flavor and the sausage was odd tasting. Again these portions were quite small for the amount of people that were sitting together. The main course was oxtail. I love oxtail however this was greasy and flavorless. The tiramisu was good, which we got to go. When the waitress asked how the oxtail was, I said not very good. She didn't say anything and brought the check. For $80 per person in my opinion it was a waste of money. The only reason we went to wild Rosemary was 10 years prior, we had one of the best meals ever.
If you decide to go, bring ear plugs and a coat.

Wild Rosemary was warm and wonderful. The food was fantastic and fellowship with the table introduces a sense of community. Breaking bread with your neighbor from the down the street while sipping wine warms your heart. We had so much fun sharing laughs and soaking up red sauce with homemade bread. If you don’t make this your next stop, you’re making a mistake.

Extremely overpriced for mediocre food. The food and atmosphere was not thought of for the dining experience due to the price. Usually when we have a bad experience, we try it again but we will not be back due to price and lack of flavor and atmosphere. I wish them all the best but cannot recommend this overpriced mediocre food.

We went for breakfast/lunch. Service was fast and prepared food was fresh. Ruben was great and the likely the best pancakes ever. However, there are no fountain drinks ($6.00 for a Smart bottle of water), very cramped, cushed store bought potato chips (as a side for expensive sandwiches), and no highchairs. Overall, slightly elevated diner food with prices closer to original Wild Rosemary. I'm okay paying for great food, but don't gauge customers on bottled water and nasty chips. We won't be back, but hope they figure out their pit falls.

Kid-friendliness: Child had to sit on my lap.

Google maps shows it's open. Called and their answering machine message makes no mention of being closed for 10 days. Thanks for wasting my time and money driving from Aliquippa. THEY ARE CLOSED TILL LATER IN OCT. Not sure I will try again.

Way overpriced esp for the portion size. My tuna sandwich was too busy. Too many flavors going on, just wanted a nice, simple tuna salad sandwich.

When I learned that Wild Rosemary was going to be operated by Raymond, I was very excited, since I loved the vegetarian muffaletta at Cafe Raymond in the Strip! The first time we tried to dine at Wild Rosemary for breakfast, we pulled into the parking lot and Raymond said he wouldn't be open due to a wedding he was cooking for. Before leaving for the restaurant, I had checked Instagram and the website to be sure it was open. After learning it wasn't open that day, my husband said he would never return there. I was a little more forgiving and decided to go back the following week for lunch with a friend.
We were immediately seated, with menus in hand, in the lovely courtyard. After approximately 10 minutes and no sign of a server, my friend went inside to ask for someone to come to our table. A server came by and apologized and said she thought the other server had taken our order.
When we asked for some water, we were told the only option was to purchase a bottle of water. Aside from traveling abroad, there aren't too many other restaurants at the Wild Rosemary price point that don't provide drinking water, for free. The server brought out the bottles of water, without any glasses. So, we asked and were given some glasses.
My friend ordered a salad with chicken, and I ordered a sandwich. When I asked what type of potatoes came with it -- as the menu stated -- she said potato chips. When I asked if I could get something besides the chips, she said yes, for an upcharge. When a sandwich costs $16, it'd be nice to have a choice of side, other than chips.
My sandwich was good. My friend did not see any chicken in the salad, so she went inside to let the server know. The server said she didn't say she wanted chicken, but I heard my friend say it. A few pieces of extremely pale chicken, without any apparent seasonings, was brought out a few minutes later. My friend said it was flavorless.
Overall, the experience was a poor but memorable one. I hope that some changes are made so that the restaurant improves. I cancelled a dinner reservation that I had made for next month, since I have no interest in returning.
It seems as though the restaurant is trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of its customers, without offering much in return. At least, provide some free water to customers and stop serving potato chips! I appreciate that these are the early days of Raymond's new place and hopefully, these are just growing pains.

My new favorite go to restaurant! Pastrami sandwich and smash burgers are our favorite dishes but I have yet to have a dish here that I didn’t love! The service is great and very efficient!

The sandwiches were exceptional! But other things were lacking. Be careful to order water because they are shilling bottled Fiji water - the tap in USC is perfectly fine lol. No need to ship water across the planet when we have plenty here in PA, which is in strong contrast to their mission statement per their website: “We support local farms and strive to buy as much locally sourced food ingredients as possible.” The chips on my plate look like a decent portion but there were guests at my table who received half as many - I thought that was a cheap touch. Finally, there was some very clear tension between FOH and BOH on the day we were there which led to the servers being visibly stressed and upset to the point of not providing great service. Looking forward to trying their dinner service!
