Ajs has been around forever and I can remember going there as a child. The food has always been good. Service is usually good. The 4 stars is due to atmosphere. It's very small and there's always a wait at dinner time. I don't particularly care to be that close to other patrons at dinner but that's just my personal preference. If it weren't for this I'd rate a 5.

Went to Witching family Night in Vandergrift...got there early so we decided to stop in at Aj's grab a bite n few drink's. It was raining anyway's.Awesome service by bartender Joanne...Cheese Steak hoagie's with frie's and cole slaw was delicious!Met few guy's from Altoona who were fun chatting with...all n all we had a great time.

JOE of AJ’s was an absolute delight! The food was fantastic, the service was wonderful and I hope to become one of the usual “FT’s” ! ? if you know you know if you don’t, stop in and see for yourself. Thank you for treating us like family!
