We had their All day breakfast from there menu. French toast with strawberries and whipped cream on top. Fried chicken tenders and waffles. Very delicious, large serving sizes, clean and friendly service. We had a short wait very busy when it's Sunday.

high hopes due to pics & reviews. some of the blandest food ever. canned mushrooms in the omelette were so rubbery.

G&G is the best diner in Pittsburgh. Just look at this pie and waffle special. It was so incredible, I can still taste it now... I took my mom and my MIL here for brunch before I got ready on my wedding day. The one meal filled me up for all that running around all day. My mom is very picky but she LOVED the food and the friendly service. G&G has always blown away everyone I've been here with. It's also in such a cute part of Vandergrift. Definitely worth a trip, we drive almost 30 minutes and it's so worth it!!!

We really had high hopes based on the posts online about the weekend specials for breakfast. We reserved a table and when we got there we only had to wait a few minutes. Our server struggled a lot, I had decaf coffee and when it was time for my second cup she forgot. I got the Michael's skillet and the Mrs got the veggie omlett. The omlett was huge but the eggs were rubbery, my skillet was ok. We also ordered the pumpkin pancakes, thank goodness there was ice cream on it to take away some of the dryness. We ordered wheat toast and got rye and by the time we saw our server again to tell her we were half done so didn't even bother.

We ordered take out for the first time tonight and man did this blow us away. We got the nashville hot chicken sandwich, meatloaf sandwich, cheese wedges, a kids burger and their cinnamon pecan cake. Everything was so delicious!
