I stopped by Scoops on Jackson and got a two-scoop vanilla waffle cone that turned out great. The employee was friendly and helpful, and service was fast. It’s a popular ice cream shop in Vandergrift, and I often see families stopping by with their dogs for pup cups. A nice local spot for anyone looking for good ice cream and friendly service.

We stopped for ice cream at 4:55pm on a Friday and they were closed despite online saying they were open and the hours on the window saying they were open. Very disappointed!

The Perry's ice cream is delicious! This shop is in a converted house, so there's only on-street parking, and just a little bit of seating out in the sun. It seems to be mostly a grab & go place.

Only problem is, it’s a shame to have such a nice establishment ruined with a customer base that just sits on benches swearing and saying racial slurs every two seconds. Why would you want that in front of / on your property? I was shocked the people working didn’t tell them to move or stop it. I know they heard it. Everyone down the dang block could hear it. And from children nonetheless. I’m bringing MY children there, maybe that’s the problem these bad kids don’t ever have parental supervision but I don’t want my kids hearing that crap.
