Never disappoints! Always delicious, hot items delivered and set up on time! Best in the area! Highly recommend!
Really good people, delicious food! 10/10
I would only use Tommy’s if you want your guests to be disappointed. The food is terrible. They catered an event where 300 people could agree it was the worst meal ever. The Alfredo sauce was pure salt, potatoes green beans were soggy, it could’ve been turkey however it looked like tuna. The Italian bread was really sandwich bread from Aldi. To top off a miserable meal, they ran out of food! They offered one dessert which was undercooked and inedible. So if you are looking to waste money or disappointment your guest then Tommy’s is for you if not run away!
We recently attended a banquet and the food (no fault to the host) was a complete debacle. The hors d' oeuvres included salad, served on a cake plate & soup served in a small styrofoam container that was made for coleslaw, not soup. Once dinner began, the buffet was to include, bread, potatoes, green beans, pasta with two types of sauce and turkey. The bread wasn't italian bread that you would put with a meal, it was regular old, sandwich bread with butter. The potatoes were undercooked, the green beans were passable as was the turkey. They ran out of pasta and in place of that put out the salad from the "hors d' oeuvres" hour. The presentation was also sub par. I actually feel badly for the person who organized the event as they were definitely mislead as to the meal they were being provided for a TICKETED event with a definite head count. I've also never been to a banquet where the caterer ran out of food. If anything, it's the opposite problem where there is so much left over.
Warning - this company ruined our special day. We spent 1/3 of the wedding expenses on the caterer and were disappointed on all levels… see below. My spouse and I trusted Dave and Tommy’s Catering to cater our wedding. We are medical professionals who were married later in life. We had a small wedding and entrusted Dave and Tommy’s Catering to prepare dinner for our 60 guests. Unfortunately, they FORGOT to bring the steaks to the lodge and had to ask our wedding planner to order steaks from the nearest (butcher/ Walmart). The steaks were tasteless and chewy. Absolutely no seasoning (no salt or pepper) and many guests thought the steak had been microwaved. The mashed potatoes had a metallic taste and the salmon was burnt (we have pictures to prove this). Some of our guests received their meal well over one hour after the first table received their meal. Again, we only had a guest list of 60 people/ 7 tables. The DJ started to play the dance songs before the final table received their meal. Thankfully our amazing guests were understanding. We also ordered a pretzel bar for our guests to enjoy at the end of their night. As we were dancing, I heard “The caterer is leaving”. I looked around the room for the pretzels, as I was quite hungry from not eating much of the dinner, and there were no pretzels on the tables. In my heels, I ran after the caterer to ask about the pretzel bar. I found Dave and he said, we forgot the pretzels. No explanation. No apology. So the catering company forgot the steaks (half of the meals ordered) and our “night cap” snack.Further, the ceremony and reception were in the same large room. During the bridal precession, the maid of honor was cut off by the catering staff member pushing a cart of iced tea. My bridal party and guests were absolutely stunned. Please be aware. My partner and I are easy going and don’t ask for much. We took Dave out for lunch to plan the wedding. Spent several hours planning the menu.We dreamt of this special day from the time we were both in elementary school. We wanted the food to be the highlight of our day. Honestly, this company ruined our special day. We spent 1/3 of the wedding expenses on the caterer and were disappointed on all levels.I would not recommend this company to take part in anyones special day. Extremely unprofessional.

The most delicious catered food and perfectly professional, yet personable, staff!
I had a wedding in 2020 so times were already weird, Tommy got through so fantastically with everything that I needed. He offered delivery and the person driving got into a car accident thankfully okay, and they still made it with plenty of time! I got the Pittsburgh bar with kielbasa, pierogies, etc. it was absolutely incredible with all anybody talked about!
Tommy's Catering provided a nice variety of fresh food for our fundraiser at a reasonable cost with plenty to feed the crowd of 350 (and extra). Dave was very accommodating and flexible. The staff was professional too. I admire how they donate leftover food to Meals on Wheels. Thank you.
Wow! All I can is wow! Our work (PCNA) bought us lunch from Tom's today. Our lunch included a sub, pasta salad and a apple crumble dessert with a can of soda/ water. Every bite of that lunch was delicious. Hands down I've never had a better sub and pasta salad and crumble from anyone else. I would highly recommend.

These are the most unprofessional, rude people I’ve ever encountered. It was sad, so very sad, especially for a wedding. I know for a fact that the family purchased enough food for all their guests & then some. There was a ton of food left, while people were still hungry. Then told them that they couldn’t have the leftovers- food that they paid for! There is no doubt in my mind that these people were trying to limit the portions so they could resale or use at another event.
We attended a beautiful wedding reception this past weekend that was catered by Tommy. I understand portion control to ensure everyone gets some meat but their “control” was something I’ve never seen before. They said they “slice thin to accommodate people using plastic cutlery.” Fair enough, but if that’s your excuse for slicing the meat do thin you could literally see through it....offer more per plate. And the fact that our friends, you know, the ones PAYING for it, had to ask/fight for the leftovers is beyond inexcusable! Not even a fraction of that huge piece of meat was served! Perhaps people should only start being charged for the amount you serve. I’d dare to bet you’d change your ways. Thankful for people like the owner of the reception area standing up for our friends.
I was at a wedding this past weekend. The cater bad mouth the family that had hired them and then they served the food and the meat they gave use was so small you barely could see it. Then they told the family they couldn't keep the left overs! Then the venue themselves ask the caters to leave and was able to make them leave the left overs!! What made me sad is when the bride told me she was embarrassed because of the amount of the food that was served!! I will give them credit on the taste but they are very unprofessional!!
The food was absolutely amazing and could not have been more happy with everyone else also loving the food. Dee and David were super friendly and professional! The roast beef was amazing, the chicken was delicious, there was salad, potatoes and green beans, lemonade and they also provided the plates and silverware. We forgot plates to serve our cake on and they helped with that. The only thing is we were disappointed not to get the bacon wrapped tater tots, however they more than made up for it by accommodating us for other stuff we had forgotten! Would definitely recommend using them for their services to everyone I know!
Super friendly and cooperative staff, great food too! Would recommend their services!
