LaScala's Fire Villanova

LaScala is great every time I dine there. Our server Sami is wonderful, attentive, and super friendly. I had the eggplant parm which was the most beautiful presentation of eggplant parm I've ever seen, and so many delicious layers. Fried calamari (plentiful and fresh) and margherita pizza were great appetizers. Finished off with tartufo which had the richest dark chocolate ice cream and shell. Always a good experience at LaScala!

The food and service (Chloe was our server) was wonderful, but the noise level was hard to take and ruined what could have been an excellent experience. It wasn't overly crowded, but as soon as you walk in the door there's a din that permeates your ears and not only makes it difficult to converse with your dining partners, but makes it unpleasant to be there. We were hoping to sit outside, but 2 customers eating outside were swatting at bees (I am allergic to bees!) and recommended we eat inside. Sadly, we probably won't be back for dinner but might consider take out at some point, although it's never as good.

We went to LaScalas Fire Villanova to celebrate my sons 17th birthday and had a wonderful time. The hostess was friendly and accomodating to our guests. Our server Justin went above and behind rearranging our seating when additional unexpected guest arrived. Justin and his team also were attentive to all of the various guest request. He even took care of the cake making sure it was put away and brought out when it was time and lighting the candles for us. Overall I was very happy with how the celebration turned out. we had a great time. The food was also very delicious. No complaints at all!

We walked into restaurant and it was very loud with a private party. Enjoyed pivoting and eating outside. Food was delicious but barely saw our server. Had to go in 3 times to get server. Must have been understaffed. Food was fresh and excellent quality.

We had an 8:30 reservation and had staff sweeping all around us with the lights at the brightest level. Though the food was good and the portions generous it was hard to enjoy it at all. Was once a busy and vibrant restaurant, but it seems to have lost it's appeal.

Food and service were great but it is way too loud to hold conversations with friends unless you're all shouting.

SO GOOD. Every single thing on the menu is delicious, from the apps to the entrees to the DESSERTS. The staff is amazing and our waitress was so accommodating despite it getting busy while we were there. I went to another location a week ago and it was just as good

Shane is a very a attentive and friendly server. We have had him more than once and always appreciate his warmth and helpfulness.
