This place is an option if you are in the area. The town of Volant has a bunch of really cute little shops and this Cidery is worth a stop!

I’ve never been here when they have had a full complement of ciders but I’m always able to find one I like. It’s a cozy little place and nice to hang out but it could use a bit of a face lift.

The upstairs is a very nice casual hang out but it needs some more lounging chairs vs. a dining room table.

Worth the stop if your planning a trip to Volant and area!

5/2024: Growlers are 64 ounces, not 32. That would be a howler. Extremely pricy for the 16oz. Cranberry ended up being flat with in 4 hours of purchasing. Tasted like syrup. Won't be back.

10/2019: Staff were pleasant and provided the service needed. Scenery was great. Loved the building, the large wooden table where we were able to sit around. Excessive amount of bees made it difficult to sit long term and enjoy the ciders.
The ciders themselves tasted super sweet andsyrupy with little to no body from what I personally enjoy.

I drove over 2 hours round trip on 8/10/23 to get cider and arrived at 230pm as it was posted as open. When we arrived the door was locked and stated it was closed. We waited around for over 20 minutes and tried calling. I spoke to the shop next door whom stated they noticed it looked closed. I posted under the facebook status about it being open about my disappointment about it being closed and my comment was deleted. I understand being a small business emergencies happen and though maybe someone would reach out. But found deleting the comment to be very unprofessional.

1 star dor food only because they dont serve food. I drive 6 hrs from NY for the great ciders and wines and now the infused balsamic vinegars. Flavors i never thought would pair great with the vinegar. My hubby is the cider guy.

Parking: There is no parking lot directly infront of the winery. Its a short distance away by a few other businesses

I visited here on May 13 during the Golden Girls Event. When my friend and I walked in, it was 4:50. I asked one of the two ladies working if I could order one of the special drinks they were making specifically for this event. This was what brought my friend and I here to begin with. We were looking forward to having one of these specialty drinks. The shop lady very abruptly and dismissively told me all the shops close promptly at 5:00 and my only other option was to purchase a more expensive bottle of wine and that I needed to come earlier next time. There won't be a next time! I will make all future purchases at VentiSei in New Castle where I get greeted warmly and invitingly. Also, getting an entire bottle of wine was not my only other option. I walked over to the Volant Mills shop where I purchased a $2 bottle of black cherry soda and was cheerily encouraged by the manager to feel free to look on all three floors. "Don't you have to close at 5:00?" I politely asked her. "We still have customers who are browsing and shopping, she said with a smile, please feel free to do the same!" I did. What a difference between the service rendered at those two shops; if it were possible to give 0 stars to the winery, I would.
