I have been to southern California and thought i would'nt be able to find Mexican food that could hang with it here on the east coast. I WAS WRONG! This is some of the best and authentic and especially delishous Mexican food I ever had on the east coast. Everything here is mind blowingly good! Don't sleep on this spot!!! Thier salsas are so flavorful and you can tell they're made with love!!!!

This place takes 90 minutes to make 2 burritos and a cup of corn. Leaving my Uber eats driver waiting 30 mins after charging $2.50 extra for a "marketplace charge" The food was OK even though they didn't include the promo they claimed would come.

I got the Birria Pizza - food is usually good here but today im upset. Half my birria pizza has no meat. The tortilla is burnt. The tres leches cake is dry and half frozen. Cmon el jefe.

Food was very good, but meat was a little fatty. We like El Jefe and that one point certainly won’t change how often we go to the restaurant.

This restaurant is located in the ice-cream shop so you can locate where it is at if you want to stop in. Most of the food I wanted to try was not available so the food that I did tried was ok because it lack flavor but was fresh their cake was very plain tasting. The presentation of the food is gorgeous looking. The workers were really friendly, helpful and the restaurant was a clean place and definitely family friendly. I dine in but I will come back and try other things on their menu. I was hoping my food that I ordered to have more flavor but to be fair I have to try other things. I will be coming back. I did love the their Cilantro aioli sauce it is a delicious sauce and my favorite. Also the the birria taco's were surprisingly good. Would be back to try other things on the menu.

Kid-friendliness: Families and children were enjoying their meals together.

NGL its strange eating a Mexican dinner in an ice cream shop but the food was AMAZING. We didn’t have tacos so dont know about those. My son’s empanadas were fab and my nachos were basically a pile of chicken tinga (thats a good thing). The tinga hits you with a mild smoky flavor that quickly fades to a deep spice with teeny bit of meat-sweet. The shred is perfect. Chips were hot out of the fryer. The guac was kind of like super fresh pico de gallo glued together with avocado. We will definitely be back. PS the staff was super friendly.

Birria tacos are slammin. All I can say is I’m addicted to the boss, and I’m not talkin Bruce Springsteen.

Definitely the best tacos I’ve had in a long time! I got the veggie tacos and chips with guacamole. Very delicious!
