It looks like your everyday buffet and it serves all the usual suspects, but the food was well done. The satay were not dry, the fried calamari not tough, everything was warm. The best $20 you will spend on dinner!
Yes. The selection is not as large as other places, but overall the food is good. The sushi is also much better than most Chinese buffets. I only wish it would be refilled faster. Everyone took a hit with COVID, especially with the rising good costs. I miss the Pre-Covid menu and prices, but Grand Bufffet is still a good deal, for both lunch and dinner. They also have a friendly staff which is rare for Chinese buffets. The manager Nancy is always friendly, sweet, and helpful....
Overall the buffet food is good but not great. I usually stay away from seafood so cannot comment on that but every chicken dish was really good. Spring roll and egg roll were crispy and tasted fresh. Best part is the pick your own hibachi. Pick your veggies, meats, and starch, then hand it to the cook and he cooks it in front of you. Pick your sauce at the end. Would be 3 stars without the hibachi part.
