We stopped in on a soon-to-be snowy January afternoon (on the day when the Eagles were getting murdered by Tampa Bay). I actually drove here by accident -- my wife and I had looked over La Corita's menu earlier in the day before we went out, and my wife decided we were going to go to a different restaurant. I got my wires crossed and drove us to La Corita instead, so we decided to try it. What a happy accident! I grew up in a neighborhood with lots of Central American immigrants...
First time here. Coming from San Diego, where we ate Mexican food at least once a week, this place definitely hits the mark! We had a carnitas burrito, tacos al pastor, and two pupusas. Everything was delicious and the young woman at the counter was very careful to get my husband’s order correct. I’m so glad we found this place!
The food was excellent! I got 4 tacos (2 carne asadas, 1 camerones, and 1 carnitas). Every taco was cooked excellently. The meat tasted so good. The tortillas were not dry. The red and green sauce were fantastic! I am so glad I went hear to grab tacos. Will definitely come back for more in the future.
