The place was amazing! I met this jovial guy, he was the bartender I believe. Really great personality, very kind and cool. He seemed to really care about the people here. Definitely a small town, and as an out of town traveler from Seattle, it was a great experience.

We visited Reese’s Tavern on a Saturday night, expecting the usual live music they’re known for. But to our surprise, the stage was set for a comedy night and it turned out to be one of the most unexpectedly fun nights we’ve had in a long time. Three comedians performed, each with their own style and energy, and all three were genuinely hilarious. The crowd was engaged, the timing was sharp, and the laughs were constant. It felt like we’d stumbled into something special. We’re really hoping this becomes a regular thing at Reese’s, because the vibe was perfect.
The food was just as impressive. I ordered the brisket, and it was incredibly flavorful, slow-cooked, tender, and smoky with just the right amount of seasoning. My friend had the pulled pork, which was just as good, juicy and well-balanced, with a great texture and a generous portion. You really can’t go wrong with either. It’s clear the kitchen puts real care into what they’re serving.
The beer selection was another highlight. There was a solid mix of brews, crowd-pleasing classics, and a few unexpected choices that made it easy to find something for everyone. Best of all, every beer we had was ice cold and fresh, exactly how it should be.
Service was warm and laid-back, but still attentive. The staff made us feel welcome the moment we walked in. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you get the sense that everyone is there to have a good time and the people working there genuinely help make that happen.
Reese’s Tavern feels like a true neighborhood bar, but with elevated food, a great drink selection, and an entertainment lineup that keeps things exciting. It’s the kind of place that feels like home the first time you walk in, casual, comfortable, and buzzing with good energy. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be bringing friends with us next time.

Decent place. Service is pretty good. Mixed drinks average. But what really blew me up was the delectable fried pork roll bites. They were to die for. Great band as well.
