Stopped in while spending the night close by. Awesome little dive bar. Definitely a great place to grab dinner and a drink if you're passing through. Very laid back. Kitchen was closed when I arrived but they were still serving fryer food even late at night.

Friendly staff and attractive inside. We grabbed a table waiting for friends and the barkeep came right out to get our drink order, an unexpected and welcome gesture. Glad to see this old school joint in good shape and providing an important public service. Well done!

This is about a wholesome as they get. Looks sketchy and I was a bit worried heading to a random bar in a random town. Place was packed with locals. Who were nice as could be. Monday night is darts night. And everyone was up to chat and tell me what was going on. I ordered a burger. It was massive. And tasty and obviously some work went into it. Couldn’t have stumbled on a better place.
Parking: Park around back. Wasn’t super obvious how to get there.

Not being from the area I was looking for recommendations for place to visit while in town and there wasn't a single person that didn't mention Grumpy's. Brenda at the downstairs bar was amazing and the atmosphere upstairs with the dance floor was just as great. The recommendations were definitely justified.
